they remind me of Indiana Jones and Marion visiting Sallah in Raiders of the Lost Ark

it's all very retro, though too weird an angle to say anything about what's he wearing

Would put my money on slim fit Mink colour Chinos maybe Topman (where production went to for his Skyfall "Enjoying Death" Chinos.

The Boots will be one of Dan's favourites Churches Ryder 111 this time in Maracca Suede instead of the Dark Brown. £315 from here http://www.herringshoes.co.uk/product-info.php?colourid=626&brandid=4&catid=17&shoeid=1085&sizeid=2&fitid=3&forceCountryId=6&gpl=1&gclid=CLT9zLCP58cCFSUOwwodz8YLaQ

The Shirt is a polo shirt by Tom Ford Mantis (david zaritsky) from the James Bond Experience posted the blue prints for the clothing a few months back on his Facebook page that he obtained from his contact inside Tom Ford in New York. This shirt is Navy and has a very distinctive collar.

The Jacket is tricky, It looks like a Suede Blouson and it most likely going to be Tom Ford but is not in the last 4 seasons catalogs nor is it in the Autum/Winter collection. However Daniel already wears one John Varvatos Suede jacket in the movie and it is possible wardrobe took more than one item from their collection like this one http://www.matchesfashion.com/products/206157?country=GBR&LGWCODE=MEJ6LA860003KHA580;104009;6167&qxjkl=tsid:15858|cid:274894137|agid:15196676937|tid:kwd-59935573225|crid:72599224977|nw:g|rnd:10789644193917655044|dvc:c|adp:1o3&gclid=CJbvtZmR58cCFRQTGwodl3kDKw

    Or possibly vintage Levis.
  • well I stand corrected
  • The tan jacket is from Matchless. Will be for sale in October.
  • I just found out they're doing a Jany Temime exhibit in Utrecht (which is where I study) at the end of September. It's linked to the Dutch Film Festival, so those of you in the neighbourhood might wanna check it out as well. It says there will be two costumes from the upcoming SPECTRE film (not sure if there's any from Skyfall). I'm planning on visiting the exhibit on September 23rd, so I'll try to take pictures. If there's tickets left, I'll also visit the interview she's doing.

Just got the official press release from Crockett & Jones, which should end any speculation (as if there were any) on Bond's shoemaker of choice for SPECTRE.

"Northampton shoe manufacturer, Crockett & Jones is very pleased to announce that it has once again supplied a selection of styles, to the character James Bond in the 24th Bond film, SPECTRE. These include; Camberley in black calf, Alex in black calf, Northcote in black wax calf, Norwich in black calf, Radnor in black calf and Swansea in dark brown suede."

    So, there you go.

The man loves his black calf.
  • I think this might come in handy for the upcoming premiere of "SPECTRE" ;-). Which one would you choose @RC7?:

I really like the animations for the various films. Especially the hammer, sickle and heart.

I love this pic. So evocative.
We have been in dire need of a bit more old school adventure in the Bondfilms, that seemed to have all but disappeared after TLD...

Nice picture. But why is Dr No connected to three kinds of bow tie ?
Don't you think Craig has a slim one in Skyfall ?

Seriously, dude looks practically the same as he did back in 2006.

Whoever styled him here should have styled him for the movie as well. I'm feeling a CR vibe, but a bit more British.

On second thought, the blazer seems a bit too short for me. I'm sorry for the double post, I'm on mobile and for some reason it works a little weird.

I get the same feeling. It all look gorgeous but the jacket does look short by an inch or so? OK, the jacket will ever slightly ride up with the arms raised so there's no reference to the straightened hand. I realise this is all about fashion and taste but isn't a jacket supposed to cover the butt? Maybe it's to exaggerate DC's height more visually?

An 'adjusted' option for me looks nicer:

Left Before (short) and Right After (correct!?):

I'm sorry, but some people should visit a ophthalmologist.

How can one say, Craig looks almost the same in that picture as he did in 2006.
Craig looked so much better in 2006, just look at the eye area, worlds apart...

He has aged considerably, to deny that is just foolish no matter how big a fan one is of him.
Having said that, he still looks good, even though that photograph series of him is just bloody awful and the photographer is obviously incapable of making Craig look presentable.

picture of 2006, that's what I call attractive

Indeed, ugly baggy trousers back then. I really disliked Lindy Hemming's choice of costumes for Daniel Craig. This Brioni tuxedo looked unflattering. And I think Hemming still thought too much about Brosnan when dressing him.

Luckily that changed with Tom Ford and Jany Temime. They know exactly what suits Daniel Craig. Anad again, we live in 2015. Almost 10 years after "Casino Royale".

Nah. Right eyelid is drooping; you can now see the liver spots (aging spots) on his forehead. But these aren't complaints: I like that he's looking a little older.

Despite looking bit older Daniel Craig still an ideal choice me to play Bond in at least one film after SEPCTRE, he deserves

Guys, does anyone have any information on the pants worn in the poster with the N. Peal sweater?

Craig had worn charcoal grey cheeked pants with this N.Peal charcoal mock turtleneck, you can find out more in this Matt Spaiser article http://thesuitsofjamesbond.com/spectre-teaser-poster-a-charcoal-mock-polo-neck/

  • @chipsticks Beat me to it! :P Still haven't had the chance to go, but seeing that makes me even more determined to go next week and take about a million pictures. That dress is stunning. And they obviously put the suit on a doll taller than Daniel Craig haha.

Those trousers look like they're a leotard / shrink to fit second skin jeans and an inch or two too short (for the dummy)
