In all of the Craig films, albeit Casino Royale, Bond has been on a rooftop of some sort, during daytime, in a rustic/adobe-type location/architecture.

Quantum of Solace - Sienna, footchase on rooftop with Mitchell
Skyfall - Istanbul, motorcycle chase through Istanbul/Grand Bazaar
    - Shanghai, rooftop swim at hotel before going after Patrice at airport/tower
Spectre - Mexico City, Day of the Dead festival, leaving Estrella in her room to attempt to assassinate Marco Sciarra

I recently noticed that the Bonds are numbered in ascending order so far, and I wouldn t be surprised if the one after Bond 25 should be Bond 26.

    Could it be a coincidence?

In what sense is the rooftop swimming pool in a Shanghai skyscraper 'rustic/adobe-type'?

Except Tomorrow never dies all The films with Pierce had a good and evil Bond Girl

    Goldeneye : Xenia and Natalya
The World is not enough : Christmas Jones and Elektra King
Die Another day : Miranda Frost and Jinx

All 24 movies build a chain that is linked by at least one actor/actress from film to film.

    So True
Sean Connery and Roger Moore shared the same M in a few films and MoneyPenny
Latter Roger Moore and Timorous Dalton had Brown as M
Then was Pierce and Daniel had Judi Dench as M

And all execept Craig had Desmond as Q.

    Three films with "gold":

    - Goldfinger: 3rd film of the 1st Bond actor
    - The Man With The Golden Gun: 2nd film of the 3rd Bond actor
    - GoldenEye: 1st film of the 5th Bond actor

Every odd numbered Bond actor, so far, got a "Gold" film, and each actor was less patient than the previous to get to such a film. ;-)

    Something like this? :)

Does that mean that for the actor after Craig, his 0th Bond film will be a "Gold" film?

I thought Teri Hatcher was the nefarious one in Tomorrow Never Dies.
She killed the movie, after all.
    Just kidding. :P

And it worked it did make me laugh.
But still killing a movie is the least bad of the evils hehe. No really she wasn't that bad and she had a very good chemistry with Pierce.

Main henchperson returns to have a final crack at killing Bond after the main plot is resolved.

    John Glen's films

The ally dies in the first half of the film.

these are kind of obvious ones but i'll say them anyway, and they involve director John Glen..

Glen also has Bond outside/around an aerial vehicle in all his films -

FYEO, Bond outside a helicopter in the PTS
OP, Bond hanging on to a plane
AVTAK, Bond hanging on to a blimp
TLD, Bond and Necros fighting on the cargo net
LTK, Bond holding on to the back of Sanchez's plane.

I very much like that sense of vertigo, like what we got in the helicopter fight in SP. OP, TLD and LTK moments in particular worked well. Stuff like that should be in more Bond films.

The only place I remember is the montage sequence and I just had a look, it's not actively raining. There's drops on the car but no droplets falling on the car.

Yeah I saw that. But it doesn't look like it's raining at that precise moment. There's no droplets falling onto the car or the ground.

Bit of a technicality but it's nice to think that it took the 21st movie to have rain on screen :)

One of the weaknesses of the Brosnan era IMO: the obligatory evil Bond girl. It made it seem by the number. Two Bond girls for each movie, one good one bad. That is actually one of the things they did right in TND. They broke the pattern. Sadly the bond girls were not very good.

FYEO does not feature any explosions in the final battle scene. Is it the only occurence of this?

Depends on how you define "final battle scene".

There seems to be a lot of explosions in the series, especially towrds the end. I find it tedious. Explosions I liked are the one during the boat chase in FRWL, and in the GF pts. Mostly, I find them boring.

QOS & SP are the only Craig films where Bond speaks a foreign language.

If only the films themselves exploded, that would be nice.

I don't remember an explosion in GF. Bond averted one at Fort Knox certainly, and then it went onto the plane fight with Goldfinger himself.

    The plane crashed and exploded.
