How many Bond films do you watch a week?

I was just wondering how many Bondmovies each and every member/Bondfan is watching on a weekly basis. I usually pop in 4 or 5 a week. From what I've seen most of the members "only" watch Bond like once a month. So, how many movies from this lovely series do you usually go trough on a week?

I try to watch a Bond once or twice a month. During Thanksgiving in the US, they usually have Bond marathons and I will watch 4 or 5 in a row. I did a full marathon up to the opening of SkyFall. I may do a mini marathon for Bond 24.

In between I entertain myself with the novels, other related readings, youtube vlog reviews, 007 video games, posting on here obviously, and trying my best to emulate a modest Bond lifestyle. Variety keeps it all fresh!

I only watched one this week.
But actually, I'm real careful about burn-out. It's happened before where I watch 2 or 3 a week and suddenly after a few weeks I stop & don't watch a Bond movie for months. The same thing's happened to me with Star Trek. And chocolate, come to think of it....

So, no more than 2 or 3 a month usually, unless I do a mini-marathon.

I went about four months (my goal was to go to the months leading up to BOND 24), then ended up doing them all, almost every night. Even during that "hiatus" I watched most of most of them while they were on TV (I figured it wasn't cheating if I just stumbled upon them).
But outside of marathons and self-imposed moratoriums I'd bet I average two or three a week.
Nice to see someone else who enjoys them as often as I do... Almost atleast... I thought I was the only one.

Go over to THE LAST BOND MOVIE I WATCHED thread. I just confessed on there today that I will no longer try to pace myself. I'll just gorge until I die.

Actually, that's the comment that made me start this thread.

Every summer I usually have a Bond marathon where I watch all the Bond films from June to August. I don't watch the films outside the summer unless they are on tv.

Wow really? Is it because of a burn out o,re you trying to abstain, or just haven't had time?

With having them on various devices these days, phone, tablet etc. I tend to dip in and out of the films. It's great when out shopping now, as I can sit outside which ever shoe or clothes shop she's gone into and watch a bit of Bond. ;)
At home I tend to watch the blurays, about one a week.

I try to keep about a 1.5 year space between viewing a particular Bond movie, difficult though that sometimes is. I find with that amount of time I really enjoy watching it again, and the experience becomes something really worth savouring.

For a newer Bond movie like SF or QoS, maybe I get round to it once every 8-9 months for the first few runs before it goes into rotation as above. The more frequent viewings of newer Bonds are permitted because I've not fully taken in all the elements.

I try to watch one during the Christmas/New Year period for sure. My favourite guilty pleasure is FRWL, although I must admit, the legendary, the absolutely iconic North By North West is usually viewed at the same time. After these two, I'm always in equal parts satisfied & in awe at the sheer movie-making brilliance I've just witnessed.

When in shopping centres I go for action, skipping the love scenes ( In case anyone thinks I looking at porn ) :)) TSWLM has plenty as with TND, Luckily I have the audio Books downloaded as well so I can relax and get my fill of a bit of Fleming. :)

About a quarter of a Bond film per week.

I tend to watch the series once every two years. So roughly 104 weeks for 26 films (yes I include NSNA and CR67 and CR54)... you can do the math. ;-)

Not enough at the minute as my entire collection is in storage! :((
  • I go months without watching a Bond film, then watch quite a few in a short space of time. Think next year building up to the new film I'll have a Bondathon again.

Let me guess, you put it in a garage somewhere outside London so you can go there and open the gate as the Bond-theme starts to play in the background? ;) No, really, where is it?

I've started a Bond-a-thon in April, and I'll be finishing next October. Although I slipped up recently, and watched the Craig trilogy.

But usually I do one Bond-a-thon per year.

one full Bondathon a year without fail, so that equals 24 movies plus maybe a random 10 others when the mood strikes, either pre-or-post Bondathon.
Thus 34 total approx, thus 34 divided by 52 = about .66 Bond films per week.

DN twice, QOS also, TND 3X, TLD & LTK 4X each, the rest basically once each (minus MR & AVTAK) and that's about .6 Bonds per week for me.
