    What’s Aaron’s favorite exercise? Planking! 😁
I don't think he's really a leading man, but he's been good in a couple of supporting roles I've seen him in.
He was really good in Nowhere Boy in the main role, but my favourite roles of his are supporting, Nocturnal Animals and Outlaw King, although those roles were standouts for him, so I think he could pull it off, and has that edge that’s missing for me in Hoult. He also has the chance to prove his capabilities in Tenet and The King’s Man hopefully.

Yeah that is the only drawback, although probably the best one to have considering it’s the easiest one to change and develop. He is very good at accents and impressions so that might work in his favour haha :)

Honestly I won’t be surprised if Hoult and Aaron are on EON’s list - even just for auditions

Yeah, almost feminine, the way a feminine Husky voice would sound.

There's gotta be a basic litmus test when anyone suggests a candidate:

    1. Do you see the actor defeating the likes of Robert Shaw, Andreas Wiszniewski, or Dave Bautista in a fist fight?
    2. Do you see the actor being credible on (and off) screen against Adolfo Celi, Telly Savalas, Christopher Lee, Robert Davi, Sean Bean, or Javier Bardem?
    3. Does the actor look like he can seduce Daniela Bianchi, Luciana Paluzzi, Diana Rigg, Maud Adams, Sophie Marceau, or Monica Bellucci?
    4. Can the actor successfully pull off wearing a kilt?

That's a very interesting litmus test.

However. If you had applied that to Daniel Craig prior to Bond there's no way anyone would have suggested he could pull Bellucci. And anyone watching the finished film is likely to remain unconvinced too, I would suggest. Hence why we never actually see him seducing anyone - in the Craig films it usually cuts to him in bed or shower with someone because he's so dreadful in the seduction scenes (or, more charitably, they are very badly written).

He pulled Angelina Jolie so, what?

James Bond can't be feminine. He gotta have balls of steel.

Haha! After the fighting, seduction, and tuxedo tests; the final requirement will be to reveal The Crown Jewels.

Wouldn't that be gold balls. Three of them.

I presume vetting the next Bond will resemble the apocryphal method of vetting Popes in medieval times. The prospective Bond will sit on a special chair with a hole in the seat, up which Barbara will put her hand to check if the actor has sufficiently steely testicles. After a rigorous feeling up the actor will either receive his license to kill or be deposited into a tank of piranhas.

After doing a search, I realized that I had thrown his name into the ring based on seeing him in “Me Before You”
He’s definitely someone who deserves a screentest.

Mm yes he’s always been around (sneakily) but has he’s gotten older, he seems to have more and more potential :)

I presume Henry Golding has been mentioned? I only bring him up because Chris Hewitt mentioned him as his choice on the Smershpod podcast: I've not seen him in anything. He says he's good in Crazy Rich Asians.

He’s done quite a lot @suavejmf. He recently showed a darker side in Peaky Blinders, he was in the Hunger Games series. Journey’s End. He played a overprivileged posh boy in The Riot Club. He’s also done a lot of romance and comedy.

And @mtm, I can see why people think of Henry, but my experience with his acting is that he’s very one note imo - not much edge or range I think.

Ah yes, I’ve seen him in Peaky Blinders and ‘The Riot Club’. He’s worth watching and a screen test, agreed.

    It's a 'no' from me....he's a poor man's Henry Cavill (and that's saying something!)

I want Robert Pattinson the most....

I wouldn’t say a “poor mans”, but a good alternative considering Cavill won’t be 007, and as much as I would like it @Pierce2Daniel, Pattinson is gonna be busy with The Batman’s supposed trilogy, and that’s a project I very much want to succeed for him, and Sam Claflin would also be a good alternative to him.
