Yupp, was posted already but thanks anyway.
If it's still coming out in September then we might get a little preview and the release date with this month's solicitations.

Hope it's not completely black and white. I'm sad to see it be his last one, though. He's a busy guy elsewhere though. Hopefully an announcement for Moonraker and others in the near future!

I agree 100%. I really hope he gets a contemporary series to handle in the future, that would be amazing. I'm really excited to finally read Origin soon.

Has anyone else read Origin #10? It continues to be among the very best of the Dynamite titles.

Origins just goes from high point to high point. This issue was a very good and moody Setup for the things to come.

Review of James Bond 007 #8.

This reviewer clearly loves James Bond.

Very curious to read this issue tomorrow and see if this series has finally found it's footing. It can go either way for me, from god awful to great. Some hints from that Review make me feel rather positive.

    This issue was... Interesting.
Thankfully it didn't turn into the worst case scenario that i feared, and Bond is very much the lead character here. Instead it went down a Route that i didn't expect at all. It follows (very loosely) some ideas from the Goldfinger movie, but it definitly kept me invested, and i'm curious to see what comes next.
    Overall solid entry.

Thanks to the Diamond Comics site, here are the sollicitations and covers for Live and Let Die and James Bond 007. No mention of James Bond Origin this month. Whether it means that the series has come to an end, or that it's taking a rest, I don't know.
James Bond 007 : Live and Let Die

    (W) Van Jensen, Ian Fleming (A) Kewber Baal (CA) Fay Dalton

In this second adaptation of the Fleming novels...
Bond is sent to New York City to investigate "Mr. Big", an agent of SMERSH and a criminal voodoo leader. With no time for superstition-and with the help of his colleague in the CIA, Felix Leiter, Bond tracks "Mr. Big" through the jazz joints of Harlem, to the everglades and on to the Caribbean, knowing that this criminal heavy hitter is a real threat. No-one, not even the mysterious Solitaire, can be sure how their battle of wills is going to end...

Pity, i was hoping for a new series announcement (best case Diggle/Casalanguida vol. 3) and I would have been fine with a continuation of Origin as well, but maybe they didn't want to overwhelm the readerbase with the releasd of LALD. Glad we have a releasdate finally.

I would not be surprised if Origin has been cancelled as the sales figures for it have been slipping. I have loved it and will really miss it every month.

Can't say I am enjoying the Greg Pak series. Far too much Odd Job. The story just seems to keep going on and on. I much prefer shorter 2-3 issue stories not these long winded 12 issue "epics". Although not read the latest issue yet so could start enjoying it more who knows?

Really looking forward to LALD though.

I think the series as a whole is cancelled. I've noticed that the hardcover collections of story arcs are almost always pushed back. Which is a shame, I enjoy these stories, and hope EON could adapt elements from them. As people here know, I was looking forward to Moonraker above all. Let's hope for more positive news in the future, seeing as they can build promotion from Bond 25.

From my point of view Dynamite has been steadily increasing their Bond output, no need to worry. Remember Dynamite got the Bond license for 10 years in 2015, and we are not even at the halfway point.
It's amazing what they managed in 4 years, and there's certainly much more to come.

It amazes me that since 2015, Dynamite has been the only consistent source we have gotten from Bond. Books and films have been limited and Dynamite have provided us with a number of unique stories over the past 4 years.
That being said they might hold off on some series for the release of Bond 25. I'm thinking potentially either February/March we may get an issue 1, and that being a contemporary story e.g. Diggle vol.3. Fingers crossed anyway.

Yes, they saved our asses. It would have been a much tougher wait for B25 if they hadn't given us so much quality output since Spectre.

That's sounds reassuring from Jeff Parker about Origin. Looking forward to finding out what it is!

Over on quarterdeck.commanderbond.net, we are debating if Jeff Parker is doing Moonraker while Ibrahim Mustafa does Origin.

Has the Origin Hardback had it's release date pushed back or something? I swear it was originally meant to come out in May, then got told it would be coming out in July, and I just looked on Amazon and saw it's set for release in August. Was it always meant to be released in August?
