Daniel Craig as Bond top 4:

    1. QOS
    2. Skyfall
    3. Spectre
    4. Casino Royale

QOS is his best performance as Bond. If there was one thing not bad about Skyfall then it is Daniel Craig as Bond. Spectre is bit of mix of Skyfall and Casino Royale.

Daniel Craig outside of movie Top 4:

    1. QOS
    2. Spectre
    3. Skyfall
    4. Casino Royale

Not have seen much Daniel Craig with Spectre. But overall i get feeling again there is some desintrest from his side again like CR. But with big difrence it be with more humor. Mabey because i know now he playing a game. Media falls in his trick insteed of following him as there did with CR and Skyfall. Again a lot of media lies and that kind of things.

    Daniel Craig era Top 4:

    1. QOS
    2. Spectre
    3. Casino Royale
    4. Skyfall

    Music Top 4:

    1. QOS. David Arnold is back.
    2. Skyfall
    3. Spectre. David Arnold who inspyred by earlier of his tracks insteed of re-using same tracks as Newman did. Inspecialy for helicopter scene re-using music from PTS of Skyfall is big shame. This are two very good reasen's why i rank it 3th place and Skyfall second, but also Skyfall has some flaws like Batman theme.
    4. Casino Royale. To much DAD to me and by times to violence.

After two Bond movies for Newman, it is time to go for him and be replaced by Craig Armstrong or Steve Price.

    Cinematography Top 4:

    1. QOS
    2. Spectre
    3. Casino Royale
    4. Skyfall

Like to see van Hoytema return.

    Pacing:

    1. Casino Royale
    2. QOS
    3. Spectre
    4. Skyfall

Like to see Lee Smith return.

    Other then Daniel Craig:

    1. Skyfall. Exept Naomi Harris part 2: Moneypenny. As Eve not that great, but oke.
    2. Casino Royale. Exept Vesper, Solange.
    3. Spectre. Denbirgh whas wasted..
    4. QOS

    Story:

    1. QOS
    2. Casino Royale
    3. Skyfall
    4. Spectre

Overall it be disapointed with every movie. The bigger picture over whole Daniel Craig era is not finished yet. But QOS and Spectre are best in this. Lower rank of Spectre is because i must see the movie for second time.

    Maintitle:

    1. Skyfall
    2. QOS
    3. Casino Royale
    4. Spectre

    Title song:

    1. Skyfall
    2. Writings On The Wall
    3. Another Way To Die
    4. You Know My Name

Stayed in draft for a whyle, udate with

    Overall:

    1. QOS
    2. Spectre
    3. Skyfall
    4. Casino Royale

    Respect for Frenchise:

    1. QOS
    2. Casino Royale. I wish the movie having a good story and les violence introduction.
    3. Spectre
    4. Skyfall

SP is #12 on my rankings list atm.

For me SP counts as a wasted opportunity. On paper, exotic places, lots of action. That I like. But these are completely wasted. Why have an action scene where you constantly cut to something else (snowplane chase cutting to Q; car chase in Rome cutting to Moneypenny). It kind of sucks the tension out of the whole scene.

With another director doing a more traditional approach SP would probably have ended up in my TOP 5. But currently it sits around 8-10. Still prefer it over SF, which was not for me.

    Current ranking...

    1. Spectre
    2. Skyfall
    3. Casino Royale
    4. Quantum Of Solace

Soon QOS might surpass CR for me. I like my Bond movies to have a bit more scale, action, gadgets and some Q/Moneypenny scenes. Spectre was the first Bond film that felt tailored to my tastes since the Brosnan era.

    1. CR

    2. SF

    3. SP

    4. QoS

For me, the first two are far superior to the others in cinematic terms, while SP beats QoS because it successfully evokes more of traditional Bond themes, has better editing, and on the whole isn't quite as dull.

For me, the Craig era has gotten progressively worse as it's gone on. Which is exactly the same way I rank the Brosnans, incidentally.

    1) CR
    2) QoS
    3) SF
    4) SP

CR just set the bar so high.

I suppose this pattern does have me concerned about Craig's fifth outing, but I am keeping an open mind.

    Casino
    Spectre
    Quantum
    skyfall

Overall top 10 list changes from
    5-8 for me..
  • Poor villain.
Wasted opportunity to make a decent car chase scene.
    Great opening sequence.
Very good cinematography, some of the shots and locations are excellent along with the soundtrack, well the theme song by Sam Smith is mediocre.
Craig's performance is better than usual, he seems like a fully developed and experienced 007, he is more confident and witty, rather than being dull and emotionless like in his other films.
Over all I would rank the film in 13th place

    1. CR

    2. SF
    3. QOS

    4. SP

SP currently at #19 for me. Each time I revisit it I try to like it more but I just cant get past its flaws yet and it leaves me a little concerned for what is coming next. However once Bond 25 comes out I may be able to just accept it more for what it is and look back on it more fondly as a one off detour for the Craig era.

    1 Casino Royale 10 - a modern classic. Wouldn't change a thing.
2 Quantum Of Solace 9.5 - almost as great but should've included an altered version of the original ending. After dropping off Camille, have Bond confront Haines and kill White. Then have the Yusef scene. Wished we'd had more films like this and CR.
3 Skyfall 7 - was disappointed the first time I saw it. The first Bond I'd seen in the theater. After a long wait, I just wanted to see Bond in his prime and fighting Quantum. Nowadays, I can mostly enjoy it. PS worst gunbarrel ever.
4 Spectre 4 - liked it at first. However, due to the yellow filter, score, retcon, plot and Madeleine Swann, I no longer consider it part of the series. The one Bond film I don't like, apart from the PTS, Rome scenes, train fight, and meteorite scene which are all good. And they still couldn't get the gunbarrel totally right.

I still can't tell whether I dislike QOS or SP more. If SP is worse, it would be because it takes 40 more minutes to actually come and go.

A fact with regards to SPECTRE is that after this movie the only way is up.

It's a good point actually, which is why I'm approaching B25 with a lot of caution. I expect to enjoy it more than SP (just not having Smith's wailing in advance of the film will ensure that) but I have concerns. Optimistic but not necessarily excited.

I would think so...he has is Oscar so I think he will quit while he is ahead...and he aint Shirley Bassey,to come back and do more.

Does he know he isn't Bassey? He probably thinks he is good.

    The hilarious melodrama continues.
  • 1) Spectre- 9/10
    2) Skyfall- 8/10
    3) Casino Royale- 7/10
    4) Quantum Of Solace- 4/10

Still top five for me. Not sure where though. I definitely prefer the Dalton films but I don't know if I'd put it above Goldeneye and OHMSS. So 3rd 4th or 5th.
