Hmm...ebay USA seems to be out of these right now. Shame. A Bond watch I could actually afford.

I have never seen another one. Possibly I was the only person in the world to eat that many bags of crisps.

The crisps in question (yes, I have a slight Bond hoarding problem):

So I have two Bond watches. Both beautiful watches imo...

@imranbecks I'm sceptical to believe that AT is a genuine piece; given your history of posing fakes as genuine; but the PCLs look off as well as the date wheel. It's disappointing if this is indeed the case.

Beautiful. Excellent photography too. The blue background really shows off the dials. The Seamaster 300 Wave is an all time classic (one of my first fancy watches) and I know you were after the blue AT for some time. I'm glad you got your hands on one. Enjoy!

There are non-official, non-hologram replicas, one of which I own, but I may one day pull the trigger on a real one.

I never post fakes again, not after last time. I thought I went through that with you before at the other thread whereby I admitted my mistake and I even said never again. The blue Aqua Terra is a genuine. The real deal that I had purchased from the AD only a couple of days ago after months of saving. It's a beautiful piece. And the fake models can't get the blue dial to look right. The fake looks terrible and the blue looks nothing like that. With regards to the date wheel or PCL bracelet, you're seeing things..lol... That there is a gen. I hope so seeing as I bought it from the AD, Watches of Switzerland to be exact, they gave me 20% off for it, which totalled to $6200 my local currency (Singapore dollar). After months and months of saving diligently. I can show you my receipt too if you want. Cheers!

Came with the wooden box and the blue is just so stunning....

@imranbecks, how do you find it in comparison to the Seamaster 300? I remember the Seamaster being much thinner but the AT was a little lighter in the bracelet.

You've got a great dress/diver combo going there. Perfect for all occasions. I've tried to do the same but with the Railmaster and Sub instead.

Definitely, the diver 300M is relatively thinner because of the 2500 calibre. The 8500 calibre caseback is thicker, but it's not too bad. And yes, it's pretty light, the case and bracelet. Definitely lighter than the PO that I tried.

Oh for sure. I've owned all of these at some time over the years including the PO 2500 and yes, the PO is probably the heaviest of the lot (especially the earlier version without the glass back).

The Sub has made me more cognizant of weight these days (it's super light with the hollow links) and that's the primary reason I switched back to the Railmaster from the AT SF. The other was the thinness. The thing I miss about the SF the most is the 3D dial with the double anti-reflective coating. It just pops.

I still can't believe you sold your SF AT... The blue dial... I can never let mine go.. It's a keeper for sure.

Here's another shot I just took that would probably sway you to getting back a blue AT.. Haha... At the airport now waiting for my wife to land... Love how the blue shines under the lights and blends with my jeans!

Yes, I agree that dial is a thing of beauty & that's a great shot showcasing it.

It's just that I couldn't justify owning both the Sub, the AT & the Railmaster and I do personally prefer the tool-like simplicity of the latter. So a tough choice had to be made and believe me it was tough.

The AT and the Railmaster do look similar case wise. The Sub is totally of a different species though..

Any love for the two series of Bond Swatch watches? I had the Living Daylights one with the light-up dial, but eventually the plastic case got brittle and broke irreparably. Recently replaced with a reasonably-priced Licence to Kill from eBay.

It's all good. I'm definitely enjoying wearing it, thank you. Can't stop looking at it.. With the PCL, the applied markers, polished bezel and that blue dial, it's really a very striking piece.

There were two very lovely collections, and I'd love to own the lot.

2002 collection with a watch for each movie: https://www.squiggly.com/gb/swatch/leather-suitcase-with-20-james-bond-watches-bondpack3.htm

and the 2008 villain series: https://www.swatch.com/en_gb/watches/szs008-james-bond-villains-set/

I like Swatch watches anyway and usually wear one; the designs are always fun and I appreciate the nice loud tick.

Yes, those are great photos of a truly outstanding design. I agree that the new version is not up to the same level. It's clear to me that they moved the date to the six o'clock position to save costs (same position as the Globemaster).

I think Omega needs a strategic overhaul personally.

I think Connery wore a Deville in parts of FRWL, & a Gruen in bits of Dr No. Moore wore a Datejust in AVTAK. That's as dressy as Bond's been.

Not sure what Craig's Bond would wear if given an option for a dressy watch. A Deville would be the obvious choice, given it's Omega's flagship. Perhaps a Tresor.

Actually Roger Moore wore a Seiko in AVTAK, a two tone datejust look alike I believe.

And that would make sense. The Deville is a class watch.

    @imranbecks stunning Omega.

I'm currently not a fan of the "garage door" Aqua Terra.. It hasn't grown on me yet since its unveiling at Baselworld. I do see it being worn by Bond in the next movie though seeing as Omega would want him to wear their latest designs...

    Hmmm....

One of the Seikos he wore in the film was a chronograph, I believe. The other was a diver. Apparently he wore 3 different Seikos in addition to the Rolex (Zorin wore one too).
