Dude, not only is your costume awesome, your girlfriend makes a far sexier Poison Ivy than Uma ever did!
    Amazing.

I am envious of that bat suit, @Master_Dahark, nice work! I must dock you points, however, for fraternizing with the enemy! ;)
  • Seriously nice job on the costumes. Your bat suit looks like a cross between Batman: The Animated Series and Affleck's for Batman vs. Superman with the classic Keaton cowl. I very much approve. Nice touch with Ivy's painted arm foliage, too.

  • Halloween is getting close! And it's on a SATURDAY which is awesome! What does everyone have planned?

I'm gonna have a party at my place- I'm considering replacing all my lightbulbs with red (we'll see how costly it is first...) and decorate the heck out of the joint! Plus I even have a black cat ready to mingle, lol

(Wasn't sure if we should continue here or start a whole new thread)

I'm having a Halloween Think Outside The Box Event (sounds better in German actually).

I'm showing 15 movies on 3 screens very similar to my Birthday Bondathon Party which was such a success that they demanded I do it again on Halloween...

During the afternoon and evening there will be different themes.

Between 11 and 15 hundred hours there will also be some children and I'm showing those movies:
    -Hocus Pocus
-Nightmare Before Christmas (3D version with shutter glasses)
-Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone

After three it's without children >:) the poor Mom's have to go home, he he! And it's boys night!!

There will be 12 movies shown on 3 screens, at first not so scary ones and after midnight the real shockers will be shown >:)

I'm going to include one James Bond movie in the first batch and the only one I can think of is LIVE AND LET DIE for the voodoo stuff and skulls.
Furthermore THE SIXTH SENSE for those who can't stomach a voodoo Bond :))

As we are of the 90's generation (around 35-42 now) there will be shown stuff like:
    SCREAM
I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER
    URBAN LEGENDS

    Later on:
    TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 2003
    WRONG TURN
    THE HILLS HAVE EYES

    Even later:
    THE DESCENT
    THE GRUDGE

And then the grand finale: Our upmost favourite movie (of all time for some even).
SHAUN OF THE DEAD which will be hilarious considering the amount of alcohol we will have consumed by getting there :))

Everyone missed a trick creating a similar copy this Year - we've seen the mask for a while now and nobody wanted to step in - there can't be a copyright on it surely?

Anyone know where I can buy Bond's Day of the Dead attire? I've browsed the internet, and most of them are not very good. This is for a Day of the Dead themed Halloween party, by the way!

Talking about Halloween, why did nobody tell me that John Carpenter already has a new album out, Lost Themes 2?

This Halloween I host a party as usual for my brothers-in-arms and some younger work-colleagues.

It is a James Bond Party this year.

Each of them could name three films he'd like to see. The overall result is this, which I just learned. So it's breaking news, he he...

    5. GoldenEye (11:00)
    lunchbreak
    4. Thunderball (14:00)
    cakes and coffee*
    3. Casino Royale (17:00)
    small dinner break
    2. The Living Daylights (20:00)
    2nd small dinner break
    1. On Her Majesty's Secret Service (22:00)
    midnight snacks

If we feel like another, it'll be Licence To Kill.

Glad to hear it! You should have some of your younger coworkers dress as gators so that as LALD plays they can lay on their chests on your floor so that you can jump on their backs.
