The name's 25. Bond 25, or rather, it's NTTD.

007 in New York doesn't seem like a relevant title. At best it has the qualification to be a chapter title, or if something related to Bond is produced in the form of a documentary... or the title of an event held in New York regarding Bond's presence.

Other than that, I can't see it working as the title of anything, let alone a film. If I recall correctly, Fleming wanted to give the short story a different title... if my memory serves me right.

    Love it.
  • 007 in New York is a bit too travelogue. I'd be more impressed if they squeezed the recipe for scrambled eggs into a movie!

I doubt the story would actually have anything to do with the film (though it would be nice if they worked that in).

    Never Dream Of Dying
    Nine Lives
    Blofeld
For Her Majesty (Came up with this one)!!

I feel like there should be a title regarding Bond maybe retiring and coming back for one last mission..

Something like "Redemption" but more epic..

    The Hildebrand Rarity.

Just a suggestion, I am not adamant about it, although it would be nice to have a longer title, but in any case since Hildebrand was mentioned in SP I think it is now a more credible hypothesis.

I've warmed to 007 in New York. It is very pulpy. Give it a Black and white PTS like CR. I think it could work.

Too pulpy I think. If Bond had been a t.v. series set in the 50s-60s it would have made for a good episode title but otherwise I think it lacks the spirit of Fleming's titles. It's the only title of his invention I can't see working.

No titles with '007' or 'Bond' in them, please. This is not a comic book franchise, the main protagonist's moniker should not appear in the title.
