Is Craig going to cry again?
Yes, in the screenplay of Spectre he cries exactly 12 times.

I think he cried in Casino Royale when he was under the shower with Vesper, no?

Did he? I don't remember that, and I've seen that scene plenty of times.

    God I hope not...

If he cried in CR it was when he was holding dead Vesper at the end.....teared up anyway as can be expected in that situation.

I think the OP is extrapolating from the SF waterworks, which I thought was overdone myself.

It would be hard to tell for sure because the water from the shower could obscure the tears, but if you look at his body language, his expression, well, I don['t think this one is up for debate.

You should know that brosnan can be seen crying after alec Trevelyan is killed at the start of Goldeneye.

And in Licence to Kill when Bond sees Deall and yells "DELLA!" he has tears in his eyes but in the next scene they're gone, a continuity error....?

In the opening credits of Die Another Day Bond is crying through the torture, you can't see it but obviously it would be happening

    Can James Bond not cry?
I'm sure all the members who post on this forum have cried at some point. I'll openly admit I'll shed a tear if something emotional strikes me. It's called being human.
If we're discussing James Bond crying, then we have to include the very moving scene in the OHMSS final scenes. Bond is clearly (and understandably) crying. I don't have a problem with it, and to honest, the fact that someone would bring it up regarding one Bond actor clearly shows what they're here for.

James Bond cries in the novels (CR and LALD) so I have no problem with this. It just adds to his humanity in my book.

He's not visibly crying in OHMSS. His voice goes ever so slightly and there's what I assume is a faint sob as he buries his head, but Hunt was adamant that 'James Bond should not cry', binning off Lazenby's first take, where he's visibly weeping.

Its all about context, Bond's relationship and eventual marriage to Tracy was key to OHMSS and Bond's relationship with M was key to Skyfall. We can't have in crying too much, it weakens any impact. Once every 40 years or so is perfect I think.

Yes, I agree. I can't see this going anywhere. Please put a bit more thought into new threads if you are going to open them.
