    Then come up with some other interesting questions! Like:

    --> Did you rewatch any of the old Bond films to get some inspiration for your role in the film?
    --> Have you been in touch with your predecessor Javier Bardem?
    --> I am a fan of Blofeld. Who was your favourite Blofeld portrayal from the Connery Bond films?
    --> Did you extensively read the script and give the producers/director some advices...on your character?
    --> Did you read some of the previous Bond novels, like "Octopussy"? This actually gives you insight in the Oberhauser-family.
    --> Sam Mendes and Daniel Craig keep saying that "Live And Let Die" is their favourite Bond film. What's yours?
    --> You're the 2nd Austrian actor playing a big role in a Bond film. Klaus Maria Brandauer was the first, playing Largo in "NSNA". Have you ever met him?

    I can tell you, that Waltz won't find these questions impressive.
    He often spoke in interviews about NOT reading or watching the source material, other than the actual script.
    So of course he did not watch old Bond films, because that's not his kind of preparation.
    The Jarvier Bardem-question he would answer with: "Why should I?"
    The Blofeld-question would get an answer like this: "I like them all, but it's a long time since I watched them. They are like a distant childhood memory."
    The script-question: "It's a steady back and forth-discussion with Sam. It's a good work-relationship."
    The novel-question: same answer as question one.
    The favourite Bond film question: "I always liked the escapism of the old Connery movies."
    The Brandauer-question: He admires Brandauer. Waltz' background is the theatre. And Brandauer is one of the biggest and most respected theatre actors in Austria. Don't know if they know each other personally. That would be the only question with a "new answer", but the answer would not be of any importance to anyone, I think.

    http://www.gq-magazin.de/mode-stil/modetrends/interview-christoph-waltz-im-interview

    I would ask Waltz about what kind of director Sam Mendes is: what kind of atmosphere does he create on set? How is it different to be directed by Mendes compared to Tim Burton, Roman Polanski or Quentin Tarantino? Is there a special Mendes-on-set-directing-style that differs from the others?

    Or: Now that you did some filming for SPECTRE, does it feel different to work on a Bond movie compared to other big-budget-Action-movies like The Green Hornet? Does the EON-Family actually feels like a family like everyone says?

    Of course there is a big chance, that he only would reply: "It's like working in any other movie."

    But maybe he would say a little bit more than just his normal, typical answers.

    I think it is really hard to come up with a question for Waltz, that really impresses him. Mostly he says nothing with many words. Haha.

    Hence why both of our questions could suck :-).

    You aren't wrong there! :)) RTL French interview from Mexico (click for automatic English translation

    "We all have a different definition of evil and of what it is to be a villain. For my part, I'd say it's as if they played in the 21st century the repertoire of popular fairs of the 19th century. There's more bears in cages or Comedia del Arte, but there are the James Bond movies".

    It could be the online translator or that I have no idea what he is saying! Also there are a few quotes from Daniel and Léa too in the interview link above.

    Is it me or often spoilers are mere speculation?

    Here's an interview of Marc Zinga (TV5, French channel) during a meeting in Mons. He didn't almost say anything (really tight lips) but he has confirmed that he will play a villain alongside Christoph Waltz.

    Bond discussion starts at 4:45

    Get well soon Daniel. I hope this clears the air and stops all stupid discussions that Tom Cruise is doing his own stunts and Daniel not. Or that again we will have CGI-face-swapping. Because the knee injury was indeed real, and was causing really problems on set. So again, get well Daniel. And my greatest respect to him and the Bond producers, who managed to step in for solutions that have prevented filming delays.

    Hopefully he'll heal quickly from this surgery- and it won't effect the future scenes and action too much.

    I don't do it that often, but this time I'll post the entire updated shooting schedule in here as well, as it seems a bit low-key past two days with production news :-). Remember, you can find the shooting schedules here:
    http://www.mi6community.com/index.php?p=/discussion/10419/spectre-shooting-schedule-update-06-04-2015-may-contain-spoilers#latest
    ....this is the SHOOTING SCHEDULE AS OF 06.04.2015. Austria *DONE*, Italy *DONE*, Mexico *DONE* (Many stuff in Pinewood *DONE* as well). Except for some final shooting days for the helicopter sequence by the 2nd and aerial units. This has to be done somewhere near the Maya Ruins & Agua Azul Falls, on the Atizapan Airport:
    0981717.jpg

    In the meanwhile another unit is preparing a set for shooting in June in Morocco. There are rumors that a huge hide-out or lair is being built on location, although that can't be confirmed yet. Also, huge gas containers should become part of that construction. Filming will take place in/near Oujda and Erfoud.

    1st unit will join there in Tanger as of June. But first a heavy Pinewood shooting schedule comes up. Ralph Fiennes has already confirmed he's up for shooting there this month. Sadly, Daniel Craig is recuperating from a knee injury in New York City, and he will be joining the cast later, around April 22nd.

    The shooting schedule becomes "redder" and "redder" now. Hopefully, no big delays in filming will occur due to Daniel Craig's knee injury.

    Short legend:
    [CF] = Currently Filming
    [FF]= Filming Finished
    [TBF] = To Be Filmed

    Amazing work with the updated shooting schedule.
    One point that doesn't quite add up is the fact that Atizapán, Edomex is close to Mexico City but a good 1,000 km from Palenque so I think they will be taking a huge creative license if those two places are part of the same sequence in the film. Not the end of the world, of course.

    I just don't know were to add these Maya Ruins and Agua Azul Falls in the shooting schedule. It makes absolutely no sense to add these locations on a very last notice. Could this be the place where the PTS ends, and Bond beds Estrella in a tent, next to one of these pyramids :-P? I...I just can't place these locations.

    Thanks for enlightening me about the Atizapan Airport location, will change that later.

    Re Mayan ruins and Agua Azul.
    Why do we think these are even shooting locales in the first place?
    My faulty memory needs refreshing.

    Wasn't this due to the Mexican Government insisting the ruins are shown as part of their agreement to let filming into Mecico City?
