    I was dreading this one. I personally liked him better in LTK, but Dalton provided that breath of fresh air in TLD. It's a toss-up for me, but Dalton meant more to the franchise in TLD.

    I'll vote for TLD, but wouldn't be the least bit upset if LTK won.

    This is a true coin flip for me...As a film on the whole, I prefer The Living Daylights to Licence to Kill...so I'll give it to The Living Daylights by default, but it is very close.

    Again, almost a coin flip for me...

    I'd lean towards TLD. He might have given a slightly better performance in LTK but I like the "fullness" of his performance in TLD better - he was more charming and showed a nice touch with the humour. I often use bits from TLD to counter people who say that Dalton was a dour, humourless Bond.

    Right, and because I found Dalton equally impressive in both movies, I gave it to The Living Daylights...the better film was the tiebreaker for me.

    Both Dalton as Bond performances were excellent but I vote for my favorite debut performance from a Bond actor: TLD.

    LTK because Tim took Bond into previously uncharted territory and was just as awesome as he was in the more classic portrayal.

    many people do believe that Tim Dalton was the best 007, closest to Flemings original character

    too bad he only featured in two movies

    I went with The Living Daylights as best Dalton 007, the second just seemed out of place, drug barons in Mexico and water sports etc, although LD was a bit dull in places, many scenes componsated for the bleak areas

    I like the fact that at the distribution center Dalton breaths in a lot of pure Cocaine yet is able to go about his business in normal circumstances thereafter

    This is a tough one. He was amazing in both. Although he was more Bond-like and charming in TLD he had more to work with in LTK and seemed more secure with himself. With that said im voting for Licence to Kill. Final answer.

    Dalton was phenomenal on both flicks, however I'd have to put his performance in TLD as superior. Both flicks were outstanding, but there are simply more interesting scenes in TLD that stand out.
