something simple.. i was going for something else completely, in the same vein as my recent "Risico" poster - but i kept coming back to just this simple imagery, as nothing was looking good to me... and i threw in the Tennyson quote and film title for the hell of it lol... enjoy.

This website believed Marketto's 'Smoking Gun' poster to be 'one of the lesser advertised posters'.. like it was an official one! Not only that, they say it in two of their articles:
    http://thefineartdiner.blogspot.fi/2012/11/last-rat-standing-skyfall-question-of.html

    Congrats, Marketto!

Wow, thanks for letting me know @JWESTBROOK. This Fan Art was constantly used last year to advertise the movie. A famous movie site in particular, Collider, thought it was official advertising. :D

If that isn't an honor and a testament to your abilities, @marketto007, I don't know what is. Well worthy of the praise.

It'll be a dream, really. I never said that anywhere else, but EON contacted me via Twitter last year, asking for my personal contact informations. But nothing happened yet. :)

i felt the album cover for the SF soundtrack to be very "boring"... so i decided to do an alternate version... mine is also very simple, and probably boring to many of you - but i think substantially more stylish... i found this pic of Dan and the DB5 and thought it brilliant for an album cover.. so i just added in some text and called it a day..

i now use this on my itunes for SF's album cover.. enjoy.

Great, but I'm not sure about the white font in the grey background.

Great, but I'm not sure about the white font in the grey background.

i wanted Dan and the DB5 to be the focal point.. i tried the same design with dark font and i didn't like it - too distracting from the picture itself... i like having the title and sub header in white / faded because it makes it subtle.. it's still there, you can see it.. but the point of emphasis isn't lost on the picture...

i did try other combinations with dark text and smaller font size for the title... but again.. for me.. it just drew my eye away from where i wanted it to go..

Came across this beautiful piece of Skyfall work recently:

The artist is imho very talented. He does a lot of these from different films.

I had great fun drawing and then scanning, inking and coloring my art piece "Last Rat Standing" a few weeks back, and decided to again hit the old pencil and paper and do a drawing of Dan as Bond. I knew I wanted to continue my past art style of mixing realism and cartooning at the same time, making it so that you could recognize it is Daniel being portrayed yet still give the overall piece some cartoonish flair. It took a while to get an idea of what I wanted to create and finish a rough sketch that I was proud of, but after I finished with the pencils, scanned the drawing onto my computer and began inking and coloring it in GIMP the fun really began. It is my vision of Bond (stubble included) while he is in Shanghai, dressed in his navy peacoat and armed with his PPK. I hope that with this piece I have managed to capture the essence of Dan as Bond, and I plan to draw the rest of the Bond actors as well, and give them each a unique touch that separates them from the rest. Enjoy. :)
