I'm not going to lie, I feel supremely let down by that tribute. Bassey was great. Epic in fact but I feel that the Bafta tribute with Tom Jones was better overall.

Shirley was awesome, can still belt out that last note at her age. The tribute could have been more than it was, but it was nice.
  • academy don't care about Bond enough.......Academy is American why would they care about a british icon?

Thank God Adele is performing because this ceremony's been a waste so far.

Really boring. Jokes fall flat.. all of them. The performance have been alright, I think the Bond part has, even objectively, been the best part so far.

Rubbish Bond tribute as has already been said. And why did they have to get Halle Berry who was in possibly the worst ever Bond film to introduce it. Eva Green or Ursula Andress would have been much more suitable. Seth Macfarlane is brilliant host though. Very funny.
  • seem more time on the musical tribute than Bond which last like 5 mins!
  • Wow please........there will be more Bond performances.

    Here we go..

Damn. Sound mixing went to Les Mis. I guess singing 'live' is worth it.

Unlike Eva Green or Ursula Andress she's American. This is an American awards show, after all. And not only that, she's an Oscar winner to boot.

    No it's not. Ted? That's a joke.

Ted is one of my favorite comedies ever. I'm not joking. That's a bonus

Adele to come as well. I'm sure I'm not alone in never expecting a Bond film to receive an academy award from a CGI teddy bear!

    Oscar Ties

If a nominee is three or less votes behind the winner, a tie is declared and the Academy will award two Oscars, one to each nominee. This has happened only two times in the history of the Academy Awards.

1968: Barbara Steisand (Funny Girl) and Katherine Hepburn (The Lion in Winter) tied for Best Actress. This is the only exact tie in Academy history.

1931/32: Fredric March (Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde) and Wallace Beery (The Champ) tied for Best Actor. They differed by one vote.

  • can someone tell me who is playing Ted? a midget?
