More DW AI stuff, this time a photonovel version of Big Finish play The Juggernauts. I still don't know how I feel about AI, but this is extremely impressive and very watchable. Watch it quick as I doubt it'll be up for long, all four episodes are there:

I don't need visual's when it comes to good DW dramatizations though to be honest its ok. I am a big fan of the 6th Doctor.

George would be perfect to brink back Venusian aikido.

I thought it’s okay. Nothing wrong with it but it just doesn’t grab me personally, maybe it will. It looks amazing though, the visuals are stunning.
    Have you seen it?

Not yet mate, probably won't get to it until the weekend. I'm keen to check it out. I did read some great things about the tone and effects.

I enjoyed the video posted above with 5th Doctor and Tegan. As others have said, just give us more of those adventures. Such a tease! Downloaded the 6th Doctor 4-parter just in case it disappears. When AI is put to good use it seems like the future looks bright.

Yes! I can see George hurling an Ogron around.

Yeah I can’t think of there ever being another homegrown U.K. show with effects this good. So far it feels like it hasn’t got as much bite as I’d like though given the subject matter: it’s probably a bit too Dr Who(!), but I’m not writing it off. It’s decent.
All the right people are whining that it’s too ‘woke’, so it must be doing something correct.
Kate Lethbridge Stewart is really good in it so far, she gets good material, her best appearance yet.

As RTD wrote The War Between the Land and the Sea its a hard pass for me and I think it will be close to 4 hours in runtime. I already know what to expect from the writer the Doctor is not in it so for me personally there is no point. I never got into Torchwood either, it did not interest me.

It did very well in the ratings, especially as it was against the I’m A Celeb final.

Yes I heard it did better than the last series of Doctor Who though I have not checked the viewing figures myself.

I've not been watching it. I simply don't care about a DW spin-off overseen by RTD. Post RTD Doctor Who, can't come quick enough for me.

I did hear that it has been doing better in the ratings than the main show.

Did anyone watch Sea Devils? The editing seemed much less frantic and quite decent this time, although I'm afraid I fell asleep before the end: I just never really enjoyed most Pertwee stories. I haven't watched the original version since it was repeated in the 90s so couldn't spot the trims very well. I think the stuff with the submarine crew got trimmed quite a bit: I do remember that dragging for ages.
The new music was good and well-integrated with the old.
