    @mtm is all around it so I shall award it to him before anyone loses their mind.

    All three films feature Bond in a cab, but TMWTGG is OOO as he is in the cab alone. LALD he rides with Solitaire and QOS he rides with Fields and Mathis.

    OOO. In QOS he sets the villain up to be taken by his own, but is not killed by Bond's own hand.

    In all three films Bond impersonates someone. Only in TWINE does it require an ID forgery.

    Bond watches the main villain fly off in a plane, except in TMWTGG it's a car that sprouted wings (which is quite feasible - in fact, Q's working on one now).

    I think it's something like M heading out into the field to take charge after Bond's (perceived) cock up, except that in TMWTGG M resides in an MI6 HQ.

    It's not that, no; you had mentioned one of the scenes already. It's something that characters do in all three, although not exclusively in these three films.

    So we have a character in the boot or trunk of a car, except in TMWTGG Bond doesn't bin 'em.

    Yeah that's the one, it maybe wasn't the OO I was thinking of ( I was thinking it was Bond in TWINE rather than other characters) but they're all odd ones in a way: in QoS he does it to the baddies twice!
