Different lighting can bring out different shades to be fair.
There is also, of course, the possibility he was dying his hair for Bond. It wouldn't surprise me at all, especially by his middle or even later films. His natural hair colour seemed lighter brown though.
Connery's the type of man I can believe being considered not so good looking if he wasn't a movie star or dressed as well as he did (or basically had his charm/charisma). Honestly, he looks a bit rough from certain angles by his later Bond films!
That's what matters most though. It's better to be unique looking with charisma and sexuality than good looking but a block of wood. I know many people who say Craig is good looking.
Exactly, brown hair. At most, light brown hair. Thats not dirty blonde. Daniel Craig was dirty blonde. If you say Roger Moore had blonde hair, you're just a Daniel Craig apologist.
Bit dramatic, but ok :)) I wasn't arguing about his hair colour. I just said he looked different to the others, and think all the actors look and come across differently. Even 'tall, dark, and handsome' can have millions of variations.
Anyway, hair colour is a boring conversation when it comes to Bond. I'd rather talk about how the actor comes across onscreen.
:(
I think he looked good, but you know, he was bald. :D
Maybe Craig's just not your type Deke ;)
On the flip side I know women who've watched early Bond films and would say they really don't find Connery attractive!
Perhaps it's not the type for many people!
As I said, if it had been Jude Law there would have been no complaints
Perhaps. It's all subjective to a point. Both Bonds seemed to have many people who considered/consider them attractive though.
Nah, fans would complain no matter what I fear! And I don't think Law would have made a better Bond than Craig, so it's all for the best.
Yes, Craig is a good actor, and in a way, they also adapted his Bond to suit him.
That's why I say being handsome is the best weapon the next Bond could have. His Bond would be different just because of that.
Ok. I'm guessing you don't fashion model scout for a living? :))
I would have.
Hair colour can most definitely change. Some people get more blond during summertime for instance, or when they get older. Moore had much lighter hair than Connery, Lazenby, Dalton or Brosnan. He was blond when he did The Persuaders.
I guess, if I had to take a stance on the colour of anything, I might be persuaded to say that blue eyes are perhaps mildly preferable as they perhaps sparkle a bit more on the screen, and eyes are the windows to the soul etc. But even then I'm sure plenty of film stars have had dark eyes and it not to have mattered, and maybe I'm just a silly ol' Roger apologist at heart :P
I have been a Hair Stylist/ Barber/ Colorist for going on 40 years; hair color runs an immense spectrum
As far as Roger's hair, I would say he is naturally a dark blonde / light brown; many factors effect even a natural hair color. In his early career he wore it shorter and , as was the custom at the time , used styling oils that made it look darker. as he got older he, regrettably, favored wearing it longer, and not as slicked down; the color appeared lighter.
As has been stated being in the sun will change hair color considerably , particularly hair in Rog's color range. dark blonde/ light brown. Oh, and my opinion that Roger had dark blond hair has nothing to do with Craig. lol
You can keep saying it but that won't make it true
