Another nice song (and video) from "the quiet one". Note all four fabs are represented.
1. Ringo - in the video (and on the song).
2. John - a guy walks pass with a copy of the "IMAGINE" LP.
3. Paul - left handed bassist in a Walrus outfit!
Little did we know back in 1987 that CLOUD NINE would be the last "solo" George Harrison album released during his lifetime.

@Dwayne Cloud Nine is a great album I remember purchasing the cassette when released, When We Was Fab is a great tribute though also for me has an underlining melancholy and sadness.
It occurred to me I don't own any Traveling Wilburys albums, I need to change that.
Same here. I wore out my cassette version of Cloud Nine during my long commutes to grad school after work. As for the Traveling Wilburys, you will enjoy it. I loved the first volume a bit more than volume three (skipped over volume 2 ... very cheeky), but both are highly recommended.
The story of how the album came to be is very interesting. Part the organic friendship of the five members and part the record label saying: "this tune deserves better than to be used as a B side. How much time do you need to do an entire LP like this?!"

One of the greatest things you will ever hear and see, this is genius.
New album for Deftones - 'Private Music'. Actually been out a couple of months now. One highlight here:
Deftones - 'Ecdysis'
Also, from Aussie band Placement - if you're a fan of the deadpan spoken word of Dry Cleaning and 'noise' rock of Sonic Youth then chances are you'll like this. Gotta love the tonal shift halfway through.
Placement - 'Insect'
Good to here a recent good rock album, I liked some of the industrial sounds on a few of the tracks, I rarely bother with modern music certainly main stream.
Holiday
Never Enough
Look Out for Me
I Care
This last one sounds a bit like Sting/The Police during the verses.
The I.T. Crowd - Mr Denham's Funeral
I only have The Divine Comedy greatest hit's CD though this is a good track.

The Divine Comedy collaboration with Tom Jones very James Bond...
All Mine - Tom Jones and The Divine Comedy
🔥
This was a proposed Bond theme, Run James Run
I recently bought the expanded CD of Pet Sounds had this track on repeat.
One of the best albums of all times title track was a Bond theme makes me smile.
IN MY LIFE (Take One)
=D>
This is on my wishlist almost forgot about the new release. I own the CD Boxset for the original 3 Anthologies when they were released in the 90's. In My Life one of my favourite songs, sounds great.
Heading to Amazon to see if Anthology 4 is available in the UK.
Edited: Anthology 4 is released here on Friday just pre-ordered the CD arrives on Saturday.
Interestingly, GoldenEye was released around the time (November 1995) as the Beatles' Anthology TV series and music was issued. Along with Oasis and Blur, on the charts and radio, "Rule Britannia" was certainly in the air.
I am looking forward to the Real Love 2025 mix after how well Johns Free As Bird vocals were cleaned up.
I have only ordered the Anthology 4 Digi pack CD.
I am happy enought with my boxset of the first 3 Anthologys and because of the nature of many of the recordings not too fussed about a new remaster. Also I have kept my box set in excellent condition.
We were spoilt in the 90's there were still some great music and movies during that time. I have a few thousand CD's and a decent collection from that decade.
Chills.
Gary Moore - Purple Haze (Blues for Jimi)
Gary Moore is one of the greatest.
@Dwayne my CD won't arrive until tomorrow though I bought it from Amazon so can also download the digital copy now. Real Love 2025 mix sounds amazing, or does it? Hmm something sounded jarring. Will do a side by side listen.

That's pretty cool.
