George Harrison - When We Was Fab

Another nice song (and video) from "the quiet one". Note all four fabs are represented.
    1. Ringo - in the video (and on the song).
    2. John - a guy walks pass with a copy of the "IMAGINE" LP.
    3. Paul - left handed bassist in a Walrus outfit!

Little did we know back in 1987 that CLOUD NINE would be the last "solo" George Harrison album released during his lifetime.

Bomb The Bass - Beat Dis (Video)

@Dwayne Cloud Nine is a great album I remember purchasing the cassette when released, When We Was Fab is a great tribute though also for me has an underlining melancholy and sadness.

It occurred to me I don't own any Traveling Wilburys albums, I need to change that.

Same here. I wore out my cassette version of Cloud Nine during my long commutes to grad school after work. As for the Traveling Wilburys, you will enjoy it. I loved the first volume a bit more than volume three (skipped over volume 2 ... very cheeky), but both are highly recommended.

The story of how the album came to be is very interesting. Part the organic friendship of the five members and part the record label saying: "this tune deserves better than to be used as a B side. How much time do you need to do an entire LP like this?!"

    Great additions there, Fire_and_Ice_Returns

New album for Deftones - 'Private Music'. Actually been out a couple of months now. One highlight here:

    Deftones - 'Ecdysis'

Also, from Aussie band Placement - if you're a fan of the deadpan spoken word of Dry Cleaning and 'noise' rock of Sonic Youth then chances are you'll like this. Gotta love the tonal shift halfway through.

    Placement - 'Insect'

Nice. Not a bad album, there are certainly a few tracks I'd put on a playlist, like Infinite Source; Milk of the Madonna.

Good to here a recent good rock album, I liked some of the industrial sounds on a few of the tracks, I rarely bother with modern music certainly main stream.

I'm liking Turnstile, some nice tracks from them.

    Never Enough

    Look Out for Me

    I Care

This last one sounds a bit like Sting/The Police during the verses.

Got a huge CD haul recently and listened to a Cradle Of filth live album, its probably best I don't post any tracks on here, to say there music is extreme is an understatement though i kind of enjoyed it.
