I’ve only watched the first one, but yeah; it’s much better isn’t it. There’s more of a game show element and more drive to it. Plus what’s not to be enjoyed about watching a game show where the music from Octopussy is playing in the background? :D
I certainly know which team I’m hoping get eliminated!

Quite funny they’re all wearing NTTD Seamasters!
Saw Bruce Fierstein’s name in the credits too.

Yes, I saw his name as well.
They did a better job of casting and with the challenges. Alex was superannoying/borderline villainous but that was his role. He was like an unhinged superfan crossed with Blofeld. It was hilarious when he just recounted the SP PTS in nauseating detail--"And then James Bond landed on a sofa!"--for no reason!

Given that this show appears to be Gregg Wilson's baby--if Barbara and Michael were in the credits, I missed it--I wonder if this was what led Eon to decide he couldn't run the franchise. We never found out about that.

Season 2 is a much better improvement on the 1st season.
If their is a season 3 green lit? I have reluctantly agreed with my daughter to apply?!!! My only saving grace is their will be thousands of others too! :))

I'm watching this very slowly; just did the first Mexico episode with the shooting contest and car race. A really fun ep (even if my favourite couple went out!)- combining an observation game with a car chase was a surprisingly good idea and quite exciting!

Yeah, it's not the best reality game show on telly or anything, but I like the Bond twist obviously (seems like they're actually mentioning Bond a bit more here and there this series: in the first one there was a weird feeling they weren't allowed to break the illusion by mentioning him) and it's a fun and varied way to pass the time.

I noticed one of the contestants was wearing a Bogner jacket (as in Willy Bogner, the guy who did the TSWLM ski jump) which feels like it can't be a coincidence, plus I think his gear is extremely expensive. So I guess the contestants have all been dressed in wardrobe, which is kind of funny.

That was the best couple. :(
