Going for my non lethal / no alarm playthough. Just reached Hengsha with no alarms set off, and lots of use of my Tranquilizer rifle.
A throwback to old skool mil sims. Even on the lowest difficulty setting, Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising, still presents a challenge.
The old Resi Evil 4 has all the charm, whilst remake all the technique.
Thought the remake of 2 was a massive letdown and have only played Seven and Village once.
Now at the Sphinx section, the new graphics including atmospheric effects are a big improvement on the remaster.
My replay ranking of the og games so far is...
TR3
TR2
TR1
TR4.
I am quarter the way through Tomb Raider Chronicles (TR5) enjoying it so far though I know an irritating section is not far away.
I can't wait for September.
Is that when IV - VI physical copy is released, I would like to get a boxset of all the Remasters also (only have them on digital)
Played some more of Angel of Darkness graphically stunning game, the gameplay mechanics are better though needs a patch to sort out Lara when you are trying to walk away from a ladder as makes you climb it again instead 😂 I am at the Hall of seasons section, looks amazing facing off against the boss now.
Yeah, the ....19th I think it is. It's around then.
Been playing The Lost Artifact bonus levels for TR3 they have done a fantantsstic job with improved graphics, they are as good as the main game in gameplay and it's a big level.
This might have just opened up a whole new genre of games to add to my collection. :))
25 years old
The game. I'm significantly older.
Originally released on PC, but ported over to console by Rebellion. It's 1964, in an alternate timeline, WW2 never happened, because WW1 never stopped! The Great War; has been raging on for 50 years! It's an interesting setup, and very fun to play.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas from the start, I loved this and Vegas 2 back in the day, the game still holds up well really enjoying the replay through. I wish they would remaster these games.

One of the first things you get to do, is arrest a group of liberal protestors. File this under 'awesome games that would never be made today'. :)) Rebellion should consider a remake or a new Dredd game.
It's more Robocop, which isnt a bad thing. For what was originally a DLC its surprisingly lengthy - took about 14 hours for me. Got the platinum, its a fairly easy one to get.
Just one note though
I was in a clan for this game back in the day, and we had the shortest, shortest of time spent at #1 on whatever leaderboards we were on. I miss those days. This one's genuinely one of my all-time favorite FPS games. Even Vegas 2 was a great follow-up. I miss when shooters were a lot more tactical and team-focused like this, not moving at hyper speeds.
Vegas and Vegas 2 are very engrossing I only ever played them on single player I would spend several hours at a time on them, I prefer shooters that are more considered, I was a fan of the early Medal of Honor games as they were more like that and not frantic.
I did purchase Siege when it was released though could never get into it. I also own Rainbow Six 3 and Lockdown on STEAM they are just not at the level of the Vegas games.
The R6: Vegas titles were even good outside of the story but still with bots through the Terrorist Hunt mode. I genuinely couldn't tell you how many dozens of hours my friends and I sunk into those maps, it was wild.
I forget what it was called though one particular Medal of Honor that was set in WWII was superb I was addicted to that game. I think it was Medal of Honor: Frontline, it was a long time ago I really need to look on STEAM as see if it is on there.
Just got a new AV amp with excellent sound and picture enhancement so playing a bit of Goldeneye 007 Reloaded on the Xbox 360, this is one of my favorite Bond games.
I am trying to draw out the enemies into a trap (C4 on wall) though they are not following me gr lol
Hilariously they shot the C4 whilst I was stood next to it and killed me, I only had one left to kill lol.
That took ages, now I have got my night vision goggles let the fun begin.
Literally just had 007 legends in my hand, opted to play Bloodstone instead, I needed a break from Goldeneye 007 Reloaded. 007 legends is not as good as many of the other games though its fun seeing the legacy characters.
Outside Auric Enterprises, its Pussy quite early on in the game.
Just broke into Goldfinger's safe and revealed his master plan pool table, @MajorDSmythe the plot of this game is preposterous. Based on my encounter with a guard earlier Oddjob is about to kick my .... Yep the bowler got me, very rusty regarding this game.
Notice also, at the beginning of the game, Tanner suggests Bond take a stealthy approach. So Bond whips out his smart phone, detonating an EMP, bringing down a jet and causing a chain reaction.
"Stealth...?"
And how the dialogue is edited together. When Pussy introduces herself to Bond, his response is edited so bad, that he damn near cuts her off.
It is very abrupt when Pussy ask's who Bond is and he just says James Bond, a lot of the game feels rushed. The watch and smart phone are a good idea though it is either me or it was not always clear what to do, admittedly it has been years since i did a proper play through.
No, it's not you. I'm playing it for the first time, and more often than not, I am stumbling across something, rather than the game pointing me in the direction.
I'm not sure where I would rank 007 Legends amongst the Craig era games. But Bloodstone is my favourite Craig era game, just for the last mission alone.
I have Quantum of Solace, Goldeneye 007 Reloaded, Bloodstone and OO7 Legends all on Xbox 360 from DC. At first i was not that keen on QoS though the game grew on me over the years, OO7 Legends is definitely my least favorite game from DC, Goldeneye 007 Reloaded and Bloodstone are both great for different reasons.
