As to not clutter the already existing threads I thought I'd make this one topic to keep any future release speculation and other overall thoughts in one place.

Since their release of DAD, I've been very thankful for their tremendous contributions to the Bond music community. They've taken what has been dreams and turned them into reality. And that's not just Bond, their work outside of Bond is also incredible and not to be overlooked.

Cheers to everyone involved to these projects and thank you for your amazing contributions. They've been a treat for the ears. ^:)^

Probably have 20-30 La-La Land soundtracks now, including all their Bond releases. Some proper seminal scores, like Tim Burton’s Batman, Die Hard, Braveheart, the Lethal Weapon box set (a soundtrack holy grail release for me) and recently Gladiator. They’re always stellar packages.

Needless to say, I really hope they’ll continue down the Bond road.

So glad there's such a source out there that fulfills what some of us fans want in a changing entertainment landscape. There's still a special feeling about getting a physical piece of entertainment, exploring the packaging and notes and getting to hear tracks we may have only dreamed about ever getting and ones we never knew existed.

La La Land is doing the film score lord's work. This incredible label brings joy and satisfaction to a musical niche, a small but loyal fraction of the music-consuming population. It used to be hard to build a collection of scores; it used to require patience, active pursuits, more money than simple people have, and the occasional disappointment that what you are looking for doesn't exist. La La Land brings Christmas to our music library almost every week or so. It's amazing. I'm in film music heaven; my gratitude is endless.

I am really happy with the OHMSS soundtrack from Lala Land, so much so that I also bought the "The Streets of San Francisco" double album (although for much cheaper on the Bay). You realize what a killer track the title is when you listen to its many variations and the funky 70s pieces that serve as a backdrop for the cop series.

If you like Jazz, this is especially for you, as it features some of the finest L.A. musicians of the time. They were attracted by the fact that Patrick Williams was an accomplished Jazz composer. Jazz musicians performing on the album: Tom Scott, Bud Shanks and Jerome Richardson (sax), Buddy Childers and Pete Gandoli (tp), Dick Nash (tb), Larrie Carlton (gui) and John Guerin (dr), who played with Frank Zappa and the Byrds.

Here's an example for the dynamic Big Band sound they had on the show.

LaLa Land put out a great Ferris Bueller soundtrack a few years ago. Excellent stuff.

Here's a speculative thought given the amazon deal on new bond films ,could it be in addition to the back catalogue releases la la land records are given the ok to put out the bond 26 ost, or does anyone think it would still be issued by a label directly connected with whichever artist they hire to do the theme song?

I dont think La La Land does *new* soundtrack releases. They tend to do older ones, though I am happy to be corrected. Quite a lot of more modern soundtracks are initially released in a more complete state - I think it is why we havent had any of the Craig era released by them, as CR to Spectre have pretty comprehensive OST releases. NTTD has a lot missing however.

How about the last four mission impossible films.
