1. a season 2 actually happens
2. it's anything like season 1
I'm not sure the many buses around where I live which have 007 all over the sides of them would agree with that!
I'm sure there'll be plenty out there who'll enjoy it, though.
I guess it's really a British show rather than a global one, which I was surprised by.
It's hard to say having barely seen some of the teams, but having worked in reality tv (thanks to the strikes) generally speaking, if the teams/contestants don't say or do much, there really isn't much footage they can include.
If you compare the nurses to the brothers or married couple, their approach was very calm and level headed, and they didn't say all that much. The brothers and married couple however were constantly talking through each challenge/question, almost explaining the show as they went along. Now this really is where Brian Cox should have come in and talked through the premise and goal of the show, rather than basically leaving that to the teams. This would have possibly allowed for a bit more even screen time amongst the teams, something I hope is tinkered with next season.
It is also possible that the teams eliminated early on where hopelessly lost in the Scottish Highlands and barely featuring them was the kinder option. I don't think EON would want to intentionally embarrass or make the teams look bad.
For those who didn't get through the first episode, you can probably just start at the third and go from there. It's when it really kicks off.

Looks like GoldenEye's Contra Dam is featured. I wonder if they bungee jump off it!
Lets be honest? We are going to get a lot more spin offs in one form or another?
Should this thread be in the news section? Things are hard to find around here.
While I enjoyed it, the first series really did feel like we were watching someones draft ideas in real time. Genuinely surprised it was allowed to stream.
I wonder if Amazon will go again or turn thoughts to other ideas. Either way, not the sign off from EON I would have ever expected.
I certainly know which team I’m hoping get eliminated!
Quite funny they’re all wearing NTTD Seamasters!
Saw Bruce Fierstein’s name in the credits too.
Curious minds want to know @LucknFate are you partially shocked? hhahaha
And oh man, that Alex guy is something else; his poor husband :D
I wish there was some extended cut, have longer episode to have a better view of each duo at each obtacle. Sometime it felt rushed (like the dam jump, that you barely able to see).
Locations and easter eggs were great, challenges too. I liked that this time some "oh its like that film" from candidates weren't all cut in the editing room.
I like there was interaction between candidates this season, and the cast was nice with irritating people you want to see eliminated but at the same time you don't because there presence are entertaining.
Unfortunatly there are still bad things. Like some of theses challenges not based on skill but basically "luck" (like the questions/bluffs). The frustrating teasing of a combat ring or a casino table, not for fighting to the last man stand or play the money on card game like blackjack, but to do less interresting question answers or random choose instead!
Beside I think 1 millions is a too indecent reward for this show (especially when one half of it is behind one of theses "luck" challenge!). 500 000 would be already far enough.
I would watch a season 3 even if not Bond theme this time I believe. But if Bond theme, I would say the challenges need more "spycraft" aspect, and why not even gadgets. Also define more clearly the rules, and give more space for cleaverness move (for exemple, I don't know why nobody used a stick or flip around the scorpions tank, or try to hitchhike in the mexico street challenge: did some hidden rules prevent it or the candidate didn't think about it? We don't know). One of the best part is the girl who open the two button door alone, wish there was more cleaver solving like it.
Bryan Coxx and the Moneypenny-like girl are great also.
