Know yourself; know Bond.
Alfie Allen
I think this fella will be talked about as a potential Bond soon, not that he'd be my choice. He's the lead actor in a new TV series called Atomic, it's coming out at the end of this month.
He's 38, been in Game Of Thrones, John Wick and interestingly he was a lead in the first series Steven Knight's series SAS Rogue Heroes.
Might be one to keep an eye on
I don’t want to see him cast as Bond, but I think legitimately, Craig is, at the most, 5’9”
No I agree, I’m only a soft Southerner, but his GE accent did sound very unnatural and forced to me too.
Based on seeing him in person? I have on a couple of occasions, he struck me as taller than that.
My girls call me Shawty and Short-King.
I stand at an intimidating 5'9.
I've seen Craig front row in MacBeth, stood mere feet from him at TIFF, and saw him in Brooklyn last December.
He's definitely not my height.
He's definitely not more than two inches taller than me.
I'd estimate he's 5'10.5.
I don't want him as Bond either mate, but I think he could get linked to the role after Atomic is released
If you're British, aged between 25 and 45, in a half decent series or film you get linked with Bond
Want a young Bond, give it to Louis Partridge, who will be in Knight’s House of Guiness. He looks the part. And could last decades in it.
Good presence for a twenty something year old, 1,83m, charming, could gain some physically with a few gym sessions. Perfect deep voice and accent. Oh, and good eyebrow game, which is essencial.
Still a bit unknown, apart from Enola Holmes, Alfonso Cuaron’s Disclaimer, and a few Austen adaptations. Could grow in the part. Become Bond and not have many other big aspirations beyond it. A loyal character actor, made big by Villeneuve and Knight’s script. A discovery in the likes of Connery himself. Why not?
Currently my number one candidate. If not Callum Turner or Theo James, and of they really want a young Bond, you can’t get better than this, looks wise, curriculum, …
Right? My thoughts exactly. A perfect blend. A mix but with his own thing going on. Besides, he’s very in the now with the new gen, being Olivia Rodrigo’s boyfriend.
I can’t imagine a better candidate for a young Bond scenario, really.
He’s also a good interviewee, and everyone seems to like working with him.
AMAZON, get him now ;)
;) Raymond Chandler: "Every man wants to be James Bond and every woman wants to be with him"
Although, admittedly, I know nothing of Olivia Rodrigo, besides her looks :)
If that's what they want, a young Bond, he's 22 now, he'll be 24/25 when they film, probably. I had a masters degree by then, and was already working.
Yes, he played Theon Greyjoy. A very complex character. Well portrayed throughout his difficult arch. From a cowardly weasel to a redeemed corageous fella. Still, not Bond material. He also played the man who killed John Wick’s dog and stole his car, an idiot brat son of a russian mobster. He’s a very good actor, mind you. Easily detestable in villainous roles. A bit weird looking, IMO. Again, I can’t see James Bond when I look at him.
