Throws in lots of self-aggrandizement and self-mythologizing for the inevitable Netflix documentary that's going to help "immortalize" him, whether he's still with us or not.

That's correct. I wrote to Julian Glover back in 2002 and I received a signed photo from him as Kristatos in super fast time. Nice man and I liked him as Kristatos in FYEO and in other roles.
He would be perfect for Bond. And it sounds like he does a killer Dalton impression. ;)
