RIP, Mr. Schifrin. Among his many musical accomplishments he composed far and away the best of the 4 Matt Helm film scores:

Sad to hear of the death of Lalo Schifrin. He also composed the score for the film of John Gardner's Boysie Oakes novel The Liquidator (1966):

You're one month early. She was sunk on July 30, not June 30.

Liverpool star, Diogo Jota has sadly lost his life in a car crash alongside his brother in Spain.
The Portuguese soccer star had recently married just 10 days earlier.

That is sad news, he had some very memorable roles in great movies, his part in Reservoir Dogs (my favourite Tarantino film) is iconic.

Of course he had a small role in DAD so will forever be a part of the Bond family.

    R. I. P. Michael Madsen died too young.

Very sad news about Michael Madsen. Always great in every movie he was in, but I especially loved him in Reservoir Dogs and Donny Brasco.

Shame that Madsen didn’t have a bigger role in DAD. Great character actor. Will be sadly missed

Another one of those who were younger than me... 8-| His role in DAD wasn't that well-written (but nothing in that film was well-written), but I enjoyed him in the Tarantino movies. R.I.P.

Sad to hear of the death of Michael Madsen. As well as his film work he also made a cameo appearance in the music video to my favourite Michael Jackson song - 'You Rock My World' (2001) - along with Marlon Brando.

He was fantastic in Reservoir Dogs. Also my favourite Tarantino. I first saw him in Thelma & Louise. He only had a small role, but he had such screen presence. A very sad loss.

After reading Madsen's IMDB page there were a lot of early roles I had forgot about like Wargames and The Doors, he also appeared in Quantum Leap which i can't remember seeing at all and I watched the whole series.

I was a big fan of Michael's sister Virginia after seeing her in Dune and Highlander 2.

Virginia is a really good actress. I loved her in Candyman and Sideways

Sad news with the passing of Michael Madsen. Excellent in Reservoir Dogs, and most collaborations with Tarantino.
His role in DAD was nothing earth shattering, but passable.
    A good character actor.

Also we have the passing of Kenneth Colley, who played Admiral Piett in TESB and ROTJ.
A small but memorable part for Star Wars fans. RIP.
