Add in a scar as well and I think you've cracked it
lol!
He’s good @Denbigh … if he scored the role it’d be a fine choice.
Outside of the Bond discussion, there's a great number of talented people involved.
I thought he was solid on Masters, though I wouldn't say he was remarkable. The characters were all thinly sketched on that show, so I still haven't seen a great vehicle where I can point to Turner having great acting chops. Plus, he's dangerously close to becoming Mr. Dua Lipa.....So not sure how that impacts his chances.
How about we just end the debate and the producers do the right thing: Go British, go for a Brat James Bond in soon to be movie star Harris Dickinson. he has a filmography to be envied and talent to match. He just needs to bulk up and a get a better haircut.
He appears to have a certain rockstar quality which could enamor him with the next generation.
I think Turner and Dickinson have good voices anyway.
Not sure what you mean there. He does lots of accents and voices: even a Dickie Attenborough impression in See How They Run!
As I said, with Callum, he has that strong balance of having the modern-edge as well as the look of Ian Fleming's original creation, whereas with Harris, in terms of his look, he feels more boyish still and more of an outlier in terms of imagining him in the role.
I agree, he's not been found yet... Because the casting hasn't begun ;)
Ultimately we have no impact on the actor one way or the other, even if they've been mentioned here. We'll see who it is.
I can definitely see him as a candidate. Excellent choice!
It's funny, I find Callum to be closer to a more blokeish Dalton/Craig. That's the vibe I get. I'm not saying he should be Bond or that he'd be like that should he be cast, but I don't see him at all like Moore or Brosnan.
I mean, every actor is their own persona at the end of the day. Every individual will bring something different.
For me a lot of it's to do with his confidence during interviews. There's something quite magnetic about him just going from those in my opion. I do agree he's quite blokeish but in a good way (not aggressive or arrogant, but confident). And his performances have always impressed me .
I don't know really, Dickinson does light and dramatic; I imagine him to mix the two up a bit more than that, but it's really hard to guess where it would go.
Interview 4 years a go at age of 30-31.
Whyle mabey he is 5-6 years to young at time of the interview, what mean 2 years from now. There is also interview with him and Mia Goth promoting Emma (2020). Mia Goth looks there on younger version of Ursula Andres. With him it be almoost sjure Bond 27 will have Dua Lipa for title song.
Very Moore/Lazenby with Shailene Woodley (also suggestion for future Bondgirl)
I think he will be nice match with Felicity Jones as Q. Joel Edgerton for role as ally, villian or mabey new Tanner.
Biggest problem is that there is not realy intresting Cinema movie or/and BD(DVD) movie footage with him.
In the mean time he started in this...
But since a whyle i consider Jonah Hauer-King for earlier 30's. Born in 1995 the year of Goldeneye, made him 31-32 in 2027.
From what i know he is no family from Dutch actor, but the guy has selfspot:
A Dr no, DAD and CR out of the water
And don't mind to see Maya Hawke as Bondgirl with worked before and good friends with..
That he is born in the year of Goldeneye, has ''King'' in his name and played in fairytale i see as usefull element to play with in or outside of movie. When i sugest Billie Eilish for Bond 25 or Bond 26 i at that she is born in December 2001. Maya Hawke is Daughter of acting parents, part of new generation.
I like Harris Dickinson but I do think he's a little bit too young right now. I don't think he'd be convincing as a seasoned agent and I'm not in favour of another origin story.
I'd prefer both to the likes of Elordi, Mescal or Josh O'Connor
But anyway, at this point I just hope they make the movie. If they fail, they will look for a solution.
