    That's very clever.

I love that Jag, the only thing is I'm not sure they've quite got the colour right in all the pics I've seen. Looks a bit too orangey, but it's probably a very tricky one to match.

The thing I really want to know is how much of a fight the plastic packaging puts up when opening?

I'm slowly considering getting these as they do look quite handsome, but I don't have the space to display them with the posters in the back, and don't like the look of closed plastic packagings. So as horrifying as it may sound to some, I'd want to keep them with just the silver cardboard box to keep them in, and throw everything else away. Just need to know if they can be opened without too much of a hassle and if there's a way to keep them "secure" inside the silver box, or is it just hollow inside?

Also @imranbecks is yours a special/pre production edition, or did they just run out of paint when they came to the wing mirrors?

The card box has a plastic moulding inside that keeps them securely held, yes. But the blister pack is not the easiest to open, and I haven't found a way of doing it without destroying the plastic yet! :)

There's a way to open this kind of packaging without causing any damage and you can put the diecast back in the box afterwards and it'll look like it looks mint on display. Use a penknife to cut from behind to remove the vehicle. Greenlight uses this same packaging as well and that's how I open them up. YouTube has various videos showing how it's done.

And no lol mine isn't a preproduction item. It's the final release just as everyone else will receive. I guess they didn't put too much thought into painting the side mirrors. Honestly didn't notice it till you mentioned it.
