Thanks for sharing these great Gladys Knight and The Pips songs, @Fire_and_Ice_Returns 😊

Gladys vocal on 'The Best Thing Ihat Ever Happened To Me' is arguably the very best, Gladys Knight vocal control is incredible.

    LICENCE TO KILL HIGH DEFINITION

It's really a great Bond theme, one of my favorites, she's a great singer, yes, her vocal control is an evidence of her great singing talent, she's up there with Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones and Adele as one of the best Bond theme singers.

One of the best Bond films IMO, I was lucky to see it in the cinema, back in the day I listened to the radio for hours hoping to tape the theme song.

It's a terrific undervalued theme. I bought the vinyl single at the time, which had the LTK teaser poster on the front!

I still have my original LP of LTK one of the few vinyl records I have left. I also had the 7" single though threw that away over 25 years ago with the rest of my vinyl collection like an idiot lol

This track has spoke to my soul for 40 years after I first heard it.

I was born in the 70's I listened to my parents George Harrison tapes before I listened to a full Beatles album, my parents were huge Cream and Clapton fans so that is what I listened to first, Clapton's work with George is amazing.

    Great selections @Fire_and_Ice_Returns.

Perhaps oddly, one of my favorite Harrison tracks is Mystical One from his overlooked (and I do mean overlooked!) 1982 LP, GONE TROPPO. I think maybe me and four other people in the US brought the album back in the fall of 1982. :)) So many underrated gems on that LP (including Unknown Delight - kind of his version of Lennon's Beautiful Boy IMO.

But Mystical One is the track that I always return to when I need the inner peace of following my own path.

♫ They say I'm not what I used to be
    All the same
I'm happier than a willow tree
Shine or rain sitting here by a stream ♫

It's between Revolver and Abbey Road as my favorite album. That said, I go through "phases" every couple of months where I'll fall in love (again) with an LP. For example, a couple of years ago it was A Hard Day's Night.

As for history, with the exception of cutting George's "I Me Mine" and some re-recordings for "Let It Be" (the single version of the song), Abbey Road really was the final.

I go through phases also, Rubber Soul and Revolver are amongst my top albums, I have spent a lot of time listening to The Beatles (White album) recently some amazing tracks on there.

I remember first hearing Motorhead's Ace of Spades on one of the Crusty Demons videos - watched those films a fair bit within a few years. This was between 2001-2004 I think, great times.

I think Lemmy was on Dave Grohl's Probot album, that was a good one too.
