    Thanks guys. I recognized the sign immediately, which, when you see more of the detail higher up, it is a map of that carriage with a list or key of emergency equipment, including a fire extinguisher, alarm, and even an emergency hammer for taking out a window (or taking out Bond himself, for being an idiot and sending Madeleine away before hearing her secret). Top of the sign says she is aboard the Frecciarossa 1000 high-speed train.

    Well, you can't blame him after what happened to Vesper.
    I can't blame him for still being suspicious fifteen years later, but if your partner has something they need to share, something which could in any way save the relationship, you'd be a fool not to listen. And who doesn't like a secret?! Bond works for HMSS - he's all about secrets!

    Dude was he in shock from the explosion and resultant concussion.

    And did he decide even considering her guilty, he couldn't kill her or turn her over to authorities. And therefore didn't want to learn further incriminations. Based on his love for her.
