Daniel Craig talks Edith Bowman through his remarkable career in television, theatre and film, including the 2004's Layer Cake, the potential for further Knives Out films, as well as his final appearance as James Bond in the upcoming No Time To Die, directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga.

Is that lady a German TV interviewer ?

Yes. She's around for almost 30 years on RTL doing a showbiz magazine.
She will be at the Red Carpet tomorow, too, with a 45-minute live show on RTL.
    But she's no in-depths-interviewer.

Can't see it, probably cause I don't have a sky account. Would you be able to grab or film the unseen footage?

I'm eager to see if we finally get a traditional, no fluff gunbarrel right at the beginning or not. I hope the title sequence rocks.

I actually think they will just re use the spectre one.

Same tagline and everything? That'd be awful.

I suspect Cary Fukunaga might be discourse-conscious enough to do the gunbarrel right, perhaps most importantly keeping the gun obscured during the walk.

Then again I could be wrong. Part of me suspects the ersatz elements of the Spectre gunbarrel are more passive aggressive than incompetence.

From how he described the gunbarrel in this featurette, I think we'll be getting a classic one:

  • I think it’s been confirmed somewhere else that they refilmed the sequence so I’m pretty sure they’ll get it right.

Nice behind the scenes footage of matera like you said @mtm . Just learnt from 007: The Daniel Craig years, that Craig gave the script of Casino Royale to Spielberg who told him to do the movie B-)

Is it possible for you or someone else to get copies of the two docus?
  • Watched doco tonight and it’s really not great, some tiny BTS of the Matera stuff at the very start and end, but about 30 seconds top.

I'd bet anything they won't use that tagline again; that was definitely uniquely Spectre. But everything up until that point, I could easily imagine them using again.

Maybe instead of the orange-tint, they'll go in a cooler (temperature wise) direction into more of the teal they've been using for this film.

It's my favourite of Craig's gunbarrels- he gets the pose perfect for my money.

The NTTD one doesn't seem to be 'right' in as far as it won't be as per the old ones: from the track on the score release it seems it's doing the thing of having the fanfare over black rather than the dots again, as Spectre did.

Sorry I don't know how. From what I've seen of the car one it's not essential viewing, but the BTS stuff is quite nice, although I'm sure it's just from the EPK.

Technically the last classic, stock gunbarrel was TLD so I'm not such a stickler on that front, but I think Bond keeping his gun obscured during the walk is pretty basic stuff.
