  I remember the Boulevard Saint-Germain looking a lot differently from your picture... Just kidding, but a neighbour living about 150 meters away from my place had one of these. plus a Daimler Double-Six, until he moved about 15 years ago. Until then, those two cars regularly collected dust because our residential "street" is unpaved and he only had a carport, not a garage.
  
  By the way, I still think that this XJS is the ugliest car that Jaguar churned out since I fell in love with the E-Type as a six-year old.

  Those prices are beyond anything I would ever spend on a car even if I had that kind of money to spend, so strictly without basis in fact: The only cars among those ten I would really wish to have are the DB5 convertible or, even more so, the 300 SL roadster. I remember when I was nine or ten years old, a neighbour across the street had one of those, in light blue with a white hardtop (IIRC), and it was a dream car for me. But no one at the time (ca. 1966) would think of it as ever being worth as much as it is now. Though it was not affordable for 99 percent of the population even then.

  Come to think of it...I just watched SPECTRE again last night after about five years of procrastination and uneasiness how the feeling would be. But I just loved the DB 10, which is so much more of a nimble-looking sports car than its successor DB 11. Too bad its only purpose was to end up in the Tiber for no real reason except ticking every box of items to be included in Bond film I actually see one DB 11 a few times a week since its owner comes for swimming in the same public pool as I do, and the DB 11 just looks overweight and being designed to appear on steroids in comparison. (The owner had an AMG GT last year by the way, so the AM is still an improvement, style-wise.)

  Well the DB11 isn't really the DB10's successor- obviously the DB10 was never in production for one thing, but actually it's more that the current Vantage is the car which came from the DB10. Certainly looks-wise there's a clear connection, plus the cars themselves seen in the movie were based on Vantages.
  I do agree that the 10 looks better than any AMs in production at the moment though.
