    @mtm Many thanks for sharing the photo. Already have the book on its way, and the pic confirms the Blackwell rum bottle is close to the classic design, and not the squat black bottle released recently.

    I love any scant instance we get of seeing Bond in his domestic environment, so I’m very excited for this portion of the film (brief as it will likely be). I would kill for the next Bond to start by basically adapting the first section of the Moonraker book where Bond has his morning routine in his flat and does boring paperwork while waiting for a mission lol.

    I mean you are probably right, but I just want so much of this. I want to see him during routine days at the office. I want his average day. I want everything behind the scenes at MI6. Honestly, the fake Bond idea I have been most exited about in a while is

    But I know that this would suck as a large part of the main tentpole movies...

    I enjoyed seeing Bond's flat in SP and thought it was more than just for show. It was a unique peek into his character.

    Yup. Set and prop design for a character’s living space is an extension *of* that character, and a great way to develop their personality through purely visual means.

    It was funny because Daniel Craig’s wife, Rachel, was in Black Widow. So you would see James Bond cycling through the parking lot from his movie set over to our side of the studio to come and see Rachel. And then you’d hear over the radios, “Is James Bond over there with you? Can we have him back, please?”
