The Top Documents Proving UFOs Are Real..

Well it is April fools day

A more finer point is I was watching something that showed Canada building a ufo project 1794 or something like that I paused the tv and said To my wife “if anyone saw that thing flying today our first thought would be Martian not man” I think someone here said it best “we hardly give credit to our own ingenuity and intellect”

Otis T. Carr (1904-1982) radio interview on 15 November 1958 on his plan to take a flying saucer to the moon on 7 December 1959:

Carr patented a flying saucer, and asserted he was working on a full-size version that could fly to the Moon and return in less than a day, using two counter-rotating metal plates, spinning electromagnets and large capacitors, which when spinning charged and powered by a battery, which became "activated by the energy of space."

A legendary novel within “SCI-FI” circles, the SYFY Network (US) actually produced a fairly good mini-series adaptation of it several years ago.

As to the specific questions posed by this thread:
    • Aliens: The numerical probability (billions of galaxies containing billions of suns, etc..) would seem to indicate that they should exist somewhere. The majority of “exoplanets” discovered thus far have been “hot-Jupiters” or “Super-Earths” similar in size to Neptune. In addition, most are not in the habitable zone of their parent sun. That said, as detection methods grow more sensitive over the next decade or two, I would expect more and more “Earth-like” planets to be found.
    • UFOs: Never say never, but I tend to be doubtful. The distance between the stars is so enormous that it is more likely that any alien spacecraft that come our way is more likely to be something like the Pioneers, Voyagers or New Horizons probes than a crewed vehicle. However, never say never. To paraphrase Arthur C. Clarke from “Songs of Distant Earth”, men may not be to travel to the stars, but “man” can. “Seeding Ships”, cryonic suspension, interstellar ramjet propulsion systems could do it – without the need to resort to “wornholes.” And if we can conceive of these things now, perhaps more advanced beings have put them into practice.

Well it is the Daily Express so one would be more surprised if it was actually factual journalism. Seeing an actual UFO would be more likely in fact than that occurring. ;)
