    GF vs. AVTAK? Surely you jest! GF by a gold-plated mile.
    MR vs. TWINE? A tougher call than I thought. While I always make fun of MR – if I’m in the right mood – I find it quite enjoyable. You just have to “go with” its’ silliness. However, if I were asked to pick a second Pierce Brosnan 007 movie to go along with GE, it would be TWINE…plus it has Sophie Marceau. Therefore, TWINE it is.

    Both TWINE and MR are two of the most underrated films, but TWINE wins this one by a very small margin.

    Why is AVTAK even included in the same sentence as GF?

    MR is utterly ridiculous but the PTS and soundtrack alone demolish TWINE

    I'd actually say Moonraker's PTS is one of the weakest. Jaws flapping like a bird is hardly a high point.

    DAF, despite its untapped potential as an OHMSS sequel it's still better than McClory's bastard child.

    YOLT, because it doesn't retroactively make all of Connery's previous films worse.

    I have to ask, what's so bad about YOLT? Sure, the book is far better, but that could be said of almost every 60s-70s Bond.

    DAF over NSNA. Connery s first comeback is better than his second in almost every way. The exception is perhaps Connery himself. Way better shape 12 years later.

    SP over YOLT, but only just. What pushes it ahead is a much better pts, Lea and far better villains. Including Blofeld (being behind three previous plots in both cases), but his crater is more impressive in YOLT. YOLT does have a much better theme song, too. And Connery.
