    American actor Vincent Marzello has passed away at the age of 68. He played a U.S.S. Wayne crewman in TSWLM, and Culpepper in NSNA.

    Oh no! Strangely, I was only thinking about her yesterday and that she was coming 95 this year. Honor Blackman was an iconic Bond actress as Pussy Galore. I also liked her role in an episode of my other favourite show Columbo. I also remember her appearing in The Upper Hand when I was growing up.

    Outside Bond Honor was in one of my favourite Greek Myth films which I will watch later in tribute to Honor, Jason and the Argonauts


    Cathy Gale... I watched The Avengers frequently in my youth, my parents were fans of the show.

    Honor was one of my favourite aspects of GOLDFINGER. Part of a stellar cast, this is such a saddening loss to the Bond family. Nonetheless, 94 is great innings and she lived one heck of life!

    I was just thinking of her longevity the other day. Always smiling and warm in the interviews I've watched. So sad. Her and Claudine Auger, two of the most memorable of the main Bond girls/women are gone.

    Man oh man, what a loss. Such an iconic character and one of the better Bond girls of the series. RIP, Honor Blackman. I'm happy that she was able to live a long and fruitful life.

    So sad. She was a great supporter and ambassador of the franchise and arguably the series most iconic leading lady.
    I’m sorry she never got to see NTTD.

    RIP Honor Blackman (1925 – 2020).

    As with many in the US, I mostly remember her as Pussy Galore, “Jason and the argonauts” and a role in one of the early episodes of TV’s “Columbo.” Later, in the early 1990’s when the “Cathy Gale” episodes of The Avengers started to air in the US for the first time, I really discovered how truly ground-breaking she was.

    A life well led.

    A light has gone out in my life, honestly. My favourite Bond woman. I first saw her in Dr Who, then The Upper Hand, and I always had kind of a thing for (OK, enormous crush on) her. Amazing looks, wonderful voice, kickass on and off the screen.

    My flatmate is a big Avengers fan and we'll be watching a Cathy Gale episode tonight while drinking gin & tonic.

    A beautiful woman within lovely voice who lived a very long life. Close call between Jason and the Argonauts and Goldfinger as my favourite performance of hers.

    First Claudine now Honor. Two of the greatest ever Bond girls. Though they are now gone, what they gave to all of us will stay forever. RIP Miss Blackman.
