    This thread gets funnier and funnier each passing day.

    Most of the bearded chaps presented on these pages are wearing dinner jackets I'm sure neither THE SUITS OF JAMES BOND nor Bond himself would ever approve of.
    I just don't see any of these guys as the dashing 007. It's hilarious, TBH.

    I still maintain the firm belief we're probably looking at another interminable gap after NTTD. It will be interesting years from now when B26 is a reality to look back at these pages.

    They are all shaping up to be potential Clive Owen's and I don't think any of them will get the role.

    BB is the boss regardless of MGM's stake and they won't pressure her into nothing.

    Sometime back I think I posted a photo of the bearded retired country singer Kenny Rogers and sarcastically advocated him as the next Bond. I should have gone for ZZ Top instead.

    I agree with @Shardlake. Today's candidates are the modern equivalent of Clive Owen.
    I personally feel the next Bond actor is someone currently under the radar who won't surface until the true casting process begins.

    Possibly, but I think they will go with someone with a slightly higher profile, not a “star” , but someone who has had some exposure.

    I don't feel very confident when I try to hide. Be proud of your wrinkles, it's nothing to be ashamed of. My father is a good looking man in his 60s with wrinkles and he never had beard all his life. Anyways i am still young so we will see how much longer i can keep up ;)

    I think what a lot of people seem to forget when talking about casting, especially the media is that you need someone who can front a multi-picture contract. Most of the time people include actors who are only marginally younger than Craig. When Sony recast Spiderman with Tom Holland, they went with someone who could potentially front 5-6 films over the next 15 years. I think we'll see similar casting logic from EON this time around, going with someone marginally younger, being closer to 30. I also think that Callum Turner has a certain Bond look to him. There's a real hint of Hoagy Carmichael, which most people accept was Flemings visual reference for literary Bond.

    He is also apparently a serial womaniser - just needs to bulk up a bit, but he does tick a fair few boxes.

    One thing is certain, it’s a whole new world than it was when Daniel was cast; the explosion of superhero franchises , particularly Marvel, has created a very competitive playing field for casting “heroic” actors.

    I think it's going to be someone more leftfield than the current crop of names. Can't see Jack Lowden myself, don't think he has the right look but who knows at this stage.

    I think he has serious potential. The picture on the right here screams leading man to me... and as @NeverSayNeverAgain mentioned there's something very Fleming's Bond about him which would be a good route after Craig :)

    If B26 were a live action adaption of JAMES BOND JR, then I might see the potential in this guy.
