It does not matter what Nomi's 00 is. Even if she is at first a new "007" we know that it will quickly be reclaimed. There is no way EON is going to separate "James Bond" from "007."

What you are saying basically means that Nomi will either die or she is a traitor, because I don't see the scenario where she stays in the service and gives Bond his number back.

Trailer music for anyone looking for it.

    You're a hero.

In Casino Royale, fitting the gunbarrel into the PTS was brilliance. But it made sense to the narrative and gave a cool little bit of context to the gunbarrel (his first kill to become a 00).

From here on out, only classic gunbarrels please. Spectre's was perfect (IMO).

How strange! I mean it’s fun but it’s sort of... cheesy! :) Talking to camera..?

How come EON don't have it on twitter, 007.com, etc? Is it a fake video, some Ben look-alike?

It's real. It looks like a regional cinema advertisement--something that plays before trailers.

    Oooh, new footage!

    Well...for some reason I feel like I've seen more that I needed to...even thoug I didn't haha

And idk why I feel like this

I think this is a sign that I shouldn't watch the 2nd trailer when it comes out..but I feel like it will be inevetible to do that since facebook will be filled with discussion about the 2nd trailer...whenever that might come out (SuperBowl maybe?)

Ben talking is not part of the movie clip, it's a promotional video where the character talks to the audience while we're seeing parts of the movie.

I notice Mr. Whishaw as Q makes no mention of his cats. Just sayin'.

Well not yet. Who knows what the movie proper will reveal.
Maybe we'll see them when Bond and Moneypenny visit Q.

The film won´t be proper if not at least a cat jumps into Bond´s arms from out of nowhere while he´s in Q´s flat.

Seeing as EON seems to have to hang onto and self-reference every single thing possible in this era, I’m damned near sure we’ll hear about or see those cats.

Whishaw even teases it himself in the April event materials - they're clearly in the script!

Anybody seen the Critical Drinker review of the trailer? God what a bunch of drivel!

Ha! That’s absolutely the Bond film approach! And the cat should ideally have been clearly thrown by somebody off camera :)

I thought it was hilarious. Everyone has a point of view. It was such a contrast to the way we talk about the films on this site, I found his take fascinating.

I don't know, I thought his perception of Bond was purely superficial. And contradictory : on the one hand he says CR was great, then said Craig never was into the role or something.

Oh and from what I can see about my friends who are not Bond fans, the trailer seems to have got them excited. How is it outside fandom for you?

I don't know if would be ideal for a Craig-Bond film, But I do miss the taglines in James bond posters. Like in TWINE we had 'Danger, Suspense, Excitement....there must be when he's around'. In GE posters we had 'There is no substitute' & You know the name....You know the number'. And many more taglines from other Bond movies as well. I think having something like 'Bond is never Obsolete' OR 'Bond's most Perilous Expedition yet' on NTTD's Theatrical Poster might be cool.

You see a cat tree in the trailer. I'm pretty sure they'll be there :).

What do we think of Ben's new look as Q? He's had a tidier haircut and got a new larger pair of specs...

It's going to take some getting used to. Personally, I preferred his look in SP and SF. Where he looked a little scruffier but still chic.

    Can we identify the glasses?

The GE poster tagline was pretty rubbish though! :) It could have been for any film.

"You know the name. You know the number." is pretty blatantly indicative of Bond, imo. Unless it was the "substitute" tagline you were referring to, in which case it's a fair point. Still not the worst though.

Because there isn't one! I said there's a cat tree in the background. If there's a cat tree, well, then the owner of it also owns a cat. It could be a 'pointless' detail and we don't see the cats at all in the movie but it's a nice to see the thought put into the design of the room regardless.
