    For your eyes only I like this film and must admit I listen to the score alot and my opinion has changed since I purchased the digital soundtrack, it is good for the most part. The film has great action and Moore has some good moments, love the submersible scene. Its a film of its time and like many Moore films great fun to watch.

    Just watched Spectre on Blu-ray...even though it was out of obligation.

    I was honestly looking forward to purchasing Spectre today and eager to give it another chance. This was certainly the last chance. Having watched it three times now since its release I can plainly say that I'm done with it for a very long time. Spectre is just not a good film and I've given up trying to like it.

    Very frustrating all the way through.

    Purchasing it in a hour when I finish work, I suspect I may feel the same about it. My memory of the film from cinema is Craig was too erratic and some poor choices were made, need to watch it again though I could be saying its a wasted opportunity.

    Spectre on glorious Bluray.
    I loved it then and I loved it again even more. Still sitting firmly at #2. GoldenEye is still king. ;)

    I must say I'd hate to see the movie some of you saw, I had a blast and I couldn't be happier. EON delivered and I am excited for B25. I really hope Craig and Waltz come back for a grand finale.

    Waltz is total ass shit but who can blame him when he's working with lines like "cuckoo"

    edit: I'm just having a bit of fun. More power to people who love the movie. I wish I did. The more Bond movies I love the better.

    SPECTRE last night. OMG it was better than I remembered! And wow- I even bounced to Newman's score! Despite the obvious lack of Bond theme overuse I've come to expect, it was really pretty GOOD!

    I feel the same way, sans Newman but I'm already aching to watch it again.

    4 movies in a row with so little Bond theme is just too much restraint for me. It needs to be out in full blast again. At least one full use of it in an action scene isn't too much to ask.

    GE and TND.

    Can't get enough of Brosnan as Bond, what an absolute legend. I hope @Creasy47 will watch GE again soon too - we need to stick together in our aim to watch it as many times as possible this year!

    TND is an absolute joy - flat out action with a badass Brozza for 2 hours, one of the better paced Bond IMO, no time wasted between action scenes. Very rewatchable outing.

    When I did my Bondathon last summer I was surprised to see FYEO become my favorite Moore Bond film. It was usually middle to lower rank for me but seeing them all in a row really made it stand out.

    It's a great film for sure, and quite different from any of the other Moore entries in tone.

    At some point soon I'd like to view all of Craig's Bond films in a row. I feel bad for those who didn't like Spectre, but I think it's a solid finale for his run if he does end up leaving the role. Of course I expect he'll probably be back for Bond 25. Hopefully.

    Just finished TND on my Bondathon, but my wife wanted to watch Casino Royale with me yesterday. Should I watch TWINE or QoS next?

    At this point, I think I would appreciate it more if it was his last. When viewed through that particular lens, I find myself a bit more accepting of everything. At least it tries to wrap up all of the storylines even though I'm not always excited with the results.
    Plus, I like the idea of DC riding away with the girl as his last Bondian moment. More than anything though, I don't want the story that was introduced in SP to continue.

    Just did a double feature of TWINE and DAD.

    My god do I love TWINE. Sure, some things are quite clonky (the infamous scene of Brosnan overacting), but it's just so damn fun. Brozza is fantastic here apart from a few scenes, like the one I mentionned, but he's mostly entertaining. I really enjoy the locations, the boat chase is epic, and so is Arnold's soundtrack. Christmas Jones is quite irritating but she's a hottie so I give her a free pass.

    As for DAD, it's a great rollercoster ride for me. Brosnan's best performance as Bond, and the first hour is splendid. The 2nd half is pure comic-book Bond, and almost makes TND look like FRWL - from the Icarus announcement up to the final battle aboard the Antonov the film is just one action scene after the other. Arnold was on steroids while making the music, it's just so damn energetic and batsh*t insane at times.

    CR and QOS.

    Absolutely stunning. 2 spectacular films with 2 mesmerizing performances from Craig. The cinematography in both films are fantastic - so colourful and lush. And I still get a kick from the opening car chase in QOS, just a nail bitting badass way to open a movie. I'm loving Eva Green more and more, I should be careful not to let @0BradyM0Bondfanatic7 know I'm falling in love with her with each viewing of the film. I'll settle for Miss Fields, she's such a cutie. Mathis is one of the best allies in the franchise, he brings warmth to the screen every time he appears.

    Skyfall is great. Should remain in my Top 10 for an extremely long time, it not forever.

    I can't exactly pinpoint why, but Skyfall is simply the most satisfying film in the series IMO. Maybe it was the experience I first saw it in, either way there is a long list of things to adore in this movie.

    Spectre I'd say is equally satisfying but Skyfall has a superior screenplay.

    Really? For me, I kind of wish Silva had remained a separate entity. I do like both SF and SP quite a bit (it seems like a lot heavily prefer one or the other...), but SF is my personal favorite between them.

    I watched SF last week and it was extremely satisfying. Better than ever before actually. It's very atmospheric and just looks beautiful. I think I liked it so much this time around because I realized what a unique franchise entry it is. It sort of stands on its own without too many tropes (DB5 notwithstanding). I just ignored the retcon entirely when watching it.
