    Maybe for the actor as Bond but I think it would be a little more lax for the Director. :))

    This has previously been brought up; Campbell is a very fit, energetic, vital 72 year old, age is not an issue. I would love for him to bookend Daniel's tenure as Bond.

    It does make all the difference. Blew my brother's ears off when I put on CR to show off my new tv/surround sound system a few years back.

    Just finished TWINE. I love it. The plot, the soundtrack, Brosnan. Everything. 100% awesome.

    Watching some extras from GF. Anyone thinks Bikel or Vandis could have made a good Goldfinger? I think Bikel was decent but, at least on the screen test, lacked 'hammyness' (and we are talking about the man who brought us that memorable: "I told you! I told you I'd do it! I told you but you wouldn't believe me!"). Vandis was way too plain-looking, suave-acting and downright ridiculous when sporting a ginger wig.

    I thought Bikel was great he would have been a great Goldfinger.He also seemed very physically fit.

    So the consensus is Bikel would have made a good to great Goldfinger? I'm taking note for future viewings of his movies, or listeining of his songs (I love that impersonation of him on Ren & Stimpy. And the funny thing is that he loved it, too, and would have liked to do the Happy Happy Joy Joy song himself if approached!).

    I'm glad to report that this version of Blowers had his socks on. Daft as a very daft thing, but it is saved, partially, by some fantastic production values.

    SPECTRE twice. The first time in IMAX, the second time on a smaller screen. I think I enjoyed it more the 2nd time and was able to picked up on things you miss the first time you see a film since you're initially taking it all in.

    On her Majesties Secret Service fantastic film and made truely wonderful watching it on Christmas time.


    I feel it does a few things better then spectre and Spectre does a few things better.


    But over all OHMSS is a top 10 film

    I get why you think that but for me the off camera voice reminded me more of Dr.No speaking to Dent, purely from a vocal perspective but when Blofeld shows up on screen and all 3 are talking about the meteor then yeah, that fits more in line with evoking the 1 million dollars aquarium scene.

    That's a tough call. Both had sequences that benefited from the big screen treatment. Ok, I will pick TLD, but only because it was/is my favourite Bond. I regret not attending the 6th double, to see OHMSS on the big screen.
