Ow.....FRWL is in the bad category ?? That's a first.....

I just find it boring as hell. I get why ppl like it, I really do.

But I myself cant come to find it exciting, mysterious, or anything. Nothing happens in it.

That's fair enough, everyone is different obin ,and you did put CR in the top category so well done on that one !!

hehe, I guess the two extremes (FRWL and DAD) are what ruins Bond for me. If its too realistic then I get bored, if its too over the top I get embaraced and angry :P

Thats why i really like Moores stuff, they are right in the middle of the spectrum imo and they have fun (but not too fun) with the entire concept.

Like obin_gam, I can't really rank them by number.

Great - FRWL, GF, OHMSS, TSWLM, FYEO, GE, CR

Good/Enjoyable - YOLT, LALD, TMWTGG, MR, OP, TLD, LTK, TND, QoS

Meh - TB, DAF, AVTAK, TWINE, DAD

I still need to watch Dr. No again to see where I would place it, but this is pretty much my list from viewing the films two months ago.

Some changes have occurred, so hey I'll post it again ;-)

    1. Casino Royale (2006) - 10/10
    2. Goldfinger (1964) - 10/10
    3. From Russia With Love (1963) - 9.5/10
    4. Dr. No (1962) - 9/10
    5. On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969) - 9/10
    6. Thunderball (1965) - 8.5/10
    7. The Living Daylights (1987) - 8.5/10
    8. GoldenEye (1995) - 8.5/10
    9. Quantum of Solace (2008) - 8/10
    10. The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) - 8/10
    11. You Only Live Twice (1967) - 7.5/10
    12. License to Kill (1989) 7.5/10
    13. Tomorrow Never Dies (1997) - 7/10
    14. For Your Eyes Only (1981) - 7/10
    15. Octopussy (1983) - 7/10

    21. Die Another Day (2002) - 5/10
    22. The Man with the Golden Gun (1974) - 5/10

    Changes:
The World Is Not Enough has moved -3 spaces, and has fallen from a 7/10 to a 6/10.
The Man with the Golden Gun was upgraded from a 4/10 to a 5/10. Still in last place, though.
A View to a Kill was upgraded from a 5/10 to a 5.5/10. It needs all the half points it can get.
For Your Eyes Only has moved +3 spaces.

Bond films 1-10 range from phenomenal to very good
Bond films 11-16 are also good films, just not as good as the top 10
Bond films 17-22 are just alright, the lesser of the bunch (For varying reasons)

I've found it really hard to decide which ones go in which spot, so I'm doing it another way, by the 5 star rule:

    Dr. No- 5 stars
From Russia with Love- 5 stars
    Goldfinger- 1.5 star
    Thunderball- 4 stars
You Only Live Twice- 1.5 stars
On Her Majesty's Secret Service- 2.5 stars
    Diamonds Are Forever- 3 stars
Live and Let Die- 5 stars
The Man with the Golden Gun-2 stars
The Spy Who Loved Me- 5 stars
    Moonraker- 2 stars
For Your Eyes Only- 4 stars
    Octopussy- 5 stars
    A View to a Kill- 3 stars
    The Living Daylights- 4 stars
    License to Kill- 4 stars
    GoldenEye- 6 stars!!!
    Tomorrow Never Dies- 5 stars
The World is not Enough- 3.5 stars
    Die Another Day- 2 stars
    Casino Royale- 5 stars
    Quantum of Solace- 2 stars

Goldeneye 6 stars? Goldfinger 1.5? Some confusion surely. Or you're off your rocker! The plane 'stunt' in GE is an affront to civilised society.

My word I'm fickle. Back in March my ranking looked like this...

    1. Octopussy
    2. On Her Majesty's Secret Service
    3. From Russia With Love
    4. The Living Daylights
    5. The Spy Who Loved Me
    6. Thunderball
    7. For Your Eyes Only
    8. Doctor No
    9. Casino Royale
    10. You Only Live Twice
    11. Goldfinger
    12. Licence To Kill
    13. Live And Let Die
    14. Tomorrow Never Dies
    15. GoldenEye
    16. A View To A Kill
    17. The World Is Not Enough
    18. Quantum Of Solace
    19. The Man With The Golden Gun
    20. Moonraker
    21. Die Another Day
    22. Diamonds Are Forever

Nine months on and it's changed...slightly.

    1. Octopussy
    2. The Living Daylights
    3. On Her Majesty's Secret Service
    4. From Russia With Love
    5. Doctor No
    6. The Spy Who Loved Me
    7. Thunderball
    8. Casino Royale
    9. Licence To Kill
    10. Goldfinger
    11. You Only Live Twice
    12. Live And Let Die
    13. For Your Eyes Only
    14. GoldenEye
    15. A View To A Kill
    16. Tomorrow Never Dies
    17. The World Is Not Enough
    18. Quantum Of Solace
    19. Moonraker
    20. The Man With The Golden Gun
    21. Diamonds Are Forever
    22. Die Another Day

I find the older I get, the older films appeal to me more. The likes of DN, FRWL, GF, TB and YOLT. Whilst my standard favourites OP, TLD and TSWLM always make my top ten. I can't see a day when OP will be knocked off of the #1 spot.
