Which moment or scene do you ladies and gents think is the best with Brosnan?

Mine is to name a few ( most of them are great )

1) Bond sitting at the hotelroom in Hamburg and waiting for Paris. Great directed scene with a Bond who is clearly vonurable.

2) Time To Face Gravity! Not the entire scene, but at the moment he says it then it's great!

4) Bond...James Bond. I think that he is the best to prounounce these famous Words, but the one in TWINE with Richards and the Bond Theme is just great in all ways!

5) Die Another Day. When he says " So you live to Die Another Day " is great, and one of the best scenes in DAD is about to come.

So fill up the list!

Sitting in the hotel in Hamburg (TND)

Talking and listening to Valentine around a nice bottle of liquor (GE) - this proves Brosnan's amazing acting skills, the way he listens to Valentine is just strong evidence of Brosnan's immense acting talent !!

    Q scene in GE

    Q scene in TND

    Q scene in DAD

I love the Hamburg hotel scene. I suppose that's my favourite Brosnan moment in the entire series.

Yeah the scene With Zukovsky is really relaxed but With some tense in the air. And Both of the actors doing a great job in the scene.

    - Waiting for Paris
    - Breaking into Gupta's office / escpae from the printing press
    - Fighting Stamper on the missile
    - Confronting Kauffman

vonurable? I usually don't like picking up on spelling but Brosnan fans need to learn how to spell.

Eh ? don't generalize like that......... just because one Brosnan fan misspells a word, doesn't mean every Brosnan fans are illiterate..... sorry but your typical 'Brosnan fans are dumb' attitude is getting annoying.... what is it with you and the 'anyone who doesn't follow my views is a dumb indivual' attitude ??

The GE bungee jump and breaking into the facility (forgot to knock, BAM!)

Stealing a tank and driving it through the streets.

Killing 006 at the end of GE.

The Q scenes in every film.

The Hamburg hotel scene in TND.

    Killing Dr kaufman.

Any of his scenes with Zukofsky.

    The DAD PTS.

The DAD Hong Kong hotel part.

    The Cuba scenes in DAD.

Brosnan had tons of great moments as Bond. One of the reasons he's my 2nd favourite.

Don`t worry about it, Action Steve doesn`t dig Brosnan, and is clearly a wind up merchant.
I, on the other hand, am a big fan, so I would like to put forward his scenes with Q.
Great, classic Bond stuff in my book, every one of them. Not an obvious choice, but there are so many great Brosnan moments, I`m going with these.

Brosnan in no way delivers the name introduction the best and to boot, when he does drop the line to Dr. Christmas Jones and the Bond theme kicks in, I found that to be one of the worst and cringe-worthy moments in the series.

Anyway, Brosnan although green to the teeth was at his overall best in GE. Him riding off the cliff after the plane was superb, the bungee jump, his exchanges with M after the discovery of the GE satellite, Bond meeting Alec again, Bond's scenes with the defence minister, his meeting with Zukovsky, the "it keeps me alive" scene on Cuba, the karate chop to the back of Onnatop's neck (that was a moment Connery would be proud of).

Brosnan had many other amazing scenes in his remaining 3 outings also, such as the "I'd be lost at sea....adrift" scene, his play time with the Danish professor, his scenes with dr.Kaufman, his breaking in and escape from Carver's printing factory/gupta's office, Bond owning Zukovsk's goon at the bar at his casino, the ski chase with the parahawks, Bond killing Elektra, the first 1/3 of DAD, Bond owning the south American.

I think he was best in TND, he felt most secure in the role and he had his best moments there also.
Another great line from TND is, when Bond says to Wai Lin " Looking for Newsstory? "

And when he is at Wai Lins safehouse and he pulls the dragonhead and fire is coming out. I always enjoy that moment!

But the Hamburg scenes is Brosnans best scenes, easily!

    I like that moment too.

    Another one:

    "You don't need the gun...Commander"

"That depends on your definition of safe sex"

    Another one:

    "Who is the competition?

Oh an Ex KGB guy...tough mother...limp on his right leg...names Zukovski

    Valantin Domitravik Zukovski??

    Yeah? Do you know him?

    I gave him the limp".

I like Brosnan's banter with 006 at the beginning of GE. It was an awesome introduction to the movie, and Brosnan's Bond.

There are too many to choose from. Brosnan´s movies were filled with great stuff, so making a list would take a year.

Exactly. There are several Bond fans here who do not have English as their first language. Let's keep this all in persepective and not be picky, ladies and gentlemen. Also, typos happen.

Like Moore, he nails the absurd moments with aplomb (the tank, the Thames boat). The serious killing moments, less so, IMHO.

YES! I love this thread! Prepare for a full-page post from me! Haha, just joking, I'll try to hold myself back!

-"Close the door, Alec, there's a draft!"
    -"A toast, to a very...thorough...evaluation."
-"A tip for your friend, the French registration plates begin with the letter 'L', even the counterfeit ones."
    -(BANG!!) "I never miss"
-(I'm just a professional doing a job) "Me too." BANG!
-"Even trade, Elliot. Gupta for Wai Lin. You can't fire the missile without him."
    -"Time to face gravity!"
-"(The world changed when you were away) "Not for me."
-(How can you be so cold?) "It's what keeps me alive."
-"You failed to take into account my....hidden assests."
-(Would you like to check my figures) "Oh, I'm sure they're perfectly rounded."
-(Perhaps I should commision you to write a novel) "Oh, I'd be lost at sea.....adrift."
-"I'm checkin' out. Thanks for the kiss of life."
-"And all so mad little Alec can settle a score with the world fifty years on."
    -"No.....for me." (Drop, AAAAAHHHHH!!!!)
-"No, no, no. No more foreplay.....take me to Janus."

I can go all day on this thread!

    - "Well, I must say, I've had a lovely evening. You?"
    - "Who's strangling the cat?"
    - "Ladies first."

    - The squeaky cart wheel in the PTS.
    - The whole exchange between James and Mishkin when he is captured.
    - When he escapes the helicopter he is tied up in by headbutting the button to his left.
    - Also, when Bond dispatches the sailor on the yacht in GE, and as the score dies down, he just pats the sweat off his face with the towel he used.

Those were some of the funnier ones, and I'm only going off of GE here. In terms of awesome action bits - which they all were to me - some of my favorites were:

    - Trevelyan tossing the AK to James in the PTS, and they both take off in separate directions.
    - Bond and Natalya taking off and hitting the elevator button after the pen explodes in the finale.
    - James wasting Ourumov with some well-placed shots.
    - Bond's dive and subsequent unloading when he escapes the facility in the PTS.
    - And of course, the fist fight between Bond and Trevelyan in the finale.
