Golden Girl poster was announced. Looks nice. Imitates the latest book cover series, which imitated Goldfinger. Who's copying who? Who cares.

That was the trailer and box art shown, that was it.

I'd like to know which edition of Casino Royale and Quantum Of Solace it will contain.

They are certainly getting a lot of mileage out of that theme.

    Newman should have been forewarned!

Maybe not as it will be out of date 25 days after release. ;)

I'm happy to see something even close to $240. They could milk this cow real good and gone for $350-$400. I will strategically try to get the set on Black Friday late in 2012, where hopefully its price drops.
  • Just watched this through. God, they showed some long 'clips' - could have done with more chat!

Olga and Caterina a bit of a treat - even if their complete lack of preparation was hilarious....

JG came ready-armed with the old war stories....the interviewer just asked them all the same question! - 'How did you put that sequence together?'

Blu Ray in a box - £90 on Amazon for October. Hmmm. I'm still holding out for individual sets. Be nice to know what the contents look like inside.

Knowing our luck, nothing new! That will be the clincher for me, what does the set look like unboxed?

The blu-ray boxset looks nice. Maybe worth getting them in high-def at last :)

£89.99 for the complete Blu-ray box set seems too low, I was expecting it would be £250-300.

Didn't Caterina or Olga say there would be new features? I might have heard wrong.

Sorry, you're right I think. The press release says the set is "including some new and exclusive content".

Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli:

"We have a whole program of exciting activities planned for our 50th anniversary year, beginning with today's announcement, by Fox, of the release of all 22 films on Blu-ray for the very first time." "We are also delighted that Fox has unveiled a specially designed anniversary poster which we hope the fans will love as much as we do. Our website, 007.com will be regularly updated with all the latest anniversary news and events."

I like it. If anything, I want to buy that poster!

The poster anouchment and some talking with Campbell is what i have seen. From the information of the Mi6 front page i get the idea it be 11 movies who be released on BD earlier be now extented to 22. The first 20 like the 9 who be released earlier. (copy all extra's and menu from the 2 disc UE) + first release of Casino Royale & the only release of QOS there is. Easy: Simalar to the earlier 44 disc limited set on dvd (with all 2 disc sets of the 22 movies include the in some country's limited 2 disc edition of QOS.) but then on BD.

Made for the people who be intrest to have all 22 movies on BD in 1 package.

Sjure there going to release the 11 other movies on BD who aren't release yet. This possible going to happen in a couple of months. With the release of Skyfall i think we can expect the new QOS release on DVD an BD.

In December 2001, 6-7 months after the release of SE's there making anouchment of the boxset with all SE's for 2002. I whas very mad about. Til the car collection it be moost expensive Bond buy. Soundtracks happend the same, there release all soundtracks from Dr No til Moonraker & FYEO, OP, AVTAK and TLD (in specialy those last 4 be very dificult to find and very expensive.) in 2001 and 2002 but then in 2003 there re-release them and some of them with more tracks. You must understand that 2001 whas for me the start with internet and bulding up my collection. Whyle Twine be my first dvd who i buy in 2000. So i whas very happy to see those Dr No til MR soundtracks.

Uggggghhh...I love Dan, but a little less focus on him would've been great. Like...more Sean, Rog, Tim. Too much Brosnan too, and correct me if I'm wrong, no Geore?!

Just look at the box art, who are the two actors shoved on the end? Oh, those two, who else.

I thought about that too Samuel. Standing ashamed in the dark.

Not a big deal, but noticed that they didn't include any clips from YOLT, OHMSS, TMWTGG, and MR. GE and QoS had their fair share with 8-9 clips each.

Look who's in the 'middle' - Craig. With Connery and Moore alongside. It's very clever, it really is. Notice too, the actors are almost in higher number of films first order. Why not just go from Connery to Craig in order?

I guess I just answered my own question.

Add in the awful photoshopping and someone really should have done better. The Lazenby and Dalton images are straight from those really bad 2008 UE covers.
