Back to Connery, it's fortunate Bond wasn't subject to the effects of weightlessness.

    As the "astronauts" were.

Aren't those supposed to be weighted suits?

That kit bag on their back probably weighs them down quite well.

I imagine if you tried at catch someone while you were wearing a full suit of armour it wouldn't look that much different, never bothered me in the film.

That's true. It's not an outfit that especially lends itself to quick or graceful movements.

I have to confess to being a bit of a sad case regarding mistakes in movies, I love to spot a good blooper but it must be a mistake that any normal five eighth will get. I'm not interested in the nerdy " a Walther silencer screws in anti clockwise" observation. So what?
A rooftop scene full of TV aerials in a movie set in the 1800s, now that's my kind of goof.

He was just brushing up on his acting skills. I'm sure he'll soon be sweeping up at the Oscars.

    Yeah they're weighted down alright.

Weighted down by the slo-mo weightlessness over-acting.

He thought it was just a rehearsal and was saving his sweeping skills for the real take.

That's it. As a method actor he was just getting warmed up for the final take. He had made extensive notes on his character but in the end the director went with the first take. What a betrayal. Ah, the tragedy of the man!
