GE came 33 years after DN, and B26 will come 33 years (ish) after GE. And both were the handoff from one creative team to the next. Near perfect symmetry.
Wait, so now the film will be released some time in 2028?!! I thought the producers aren’t stupid and would wait for “x”, and “y”? You seeing into the future is crystallizing @Mendes4Lyfe ?
But seriously, don’t look for patterns in arbitrary things. The film will be released, and we can all make connections we want to see. But it won’t make the final product good or bad or in between. That rests on the shoulders of the professionals working on this project and their execution. And even then, it’ll have no bearing on any pattern, and everything to do with the subjective tastes of the audiences.
It's good to see Goldeneye being mentioned so often with regards to the new JB movie era. I agree that it's just what we need after the Craig era. A film that isn't afraid to celebrate the screen Bond.
But with better music this time, please.
