PROJECT 26: a fan version of Bond 26

The names 26. Project 26.

So, given how Bond 26 is seemingly quite the way off, with Barbara Broccoli explaining that she and fellow producers "haven’t even begun" the process of reintroducing 007, I thought this would be the perfect time to make known that for a while now I've been working on producing my own screenplay for what I would do with a rebooted era, with the working title (inspired by IO Interactive's video game) Project 26. It is still very much in the early stages of development, but with the spectacular help of the extremely wonderful @Herr_Stockmann, progress is being made, characters are being developed and the story itself is taking shape.

For now, I wanted to create this discussion to just announce the project and hopefully get enough of you interested so that when eventually more is revealed about it and when the screenplay has fully been written and shared, I'll be able to hear all your thoughts about it because a lot of time is being spent on this. Me and @Herr_Stockmann are hoping to to craft something really incredible that honours both our love of the series, as well as something that reflects what we would like to see going forward in this new era. We're both passionately excited to eventually unleash our version of an iconic James Bond adventure to everyone here.

Anyway, looking forward to sharing updates with you as things progress.

I'll just clarify at the bottom here that this is not a discussion page for the actual Bond 26 and what we'd all like to see. This is just a discussion page for the project that me and @Herr_Stockmann are currently working on. I say this because I know there can often be a lot of overlap with our discussions.

    I always say there's a surprising lack of fan fiction on this site. Good luck with this, love reading scripts.

    Thank you! And yeah I've always been surprised by the lack of of fan fiction myself, especially since there are a lot of strong opinions on here :D

    Good luck to you all. Keep us updated! I also write a lot of fan fiction, particularly for Bond.

    Well, since (according to some here) Barbie and Mickey are icognito on this forum, who knows, maybe the actual Bond 26 ends up being somewhat similar to Project 26? ;)

    Just make sure every single character aside from Bond is named Creasy, and send any and all related paychecks directly to me, of course, when you strike stardom!
