    You simply place your cursor over the 'Joined' section on your profile and leave it there without moving it. A box will then come up with the exact date and time you joined the community.

    That's funny. I moved the cursor over the 'Joined' section, but no box popped up even if I held the cursor there for some time. But I closed my browser and opened it again, and that worked. Must have been a bug or something. Thanks!

    Just saw this thread for the first time. I remember reading the KTBEU forums in my first couple of years at uni, so that would have been 1999 or 2000. I definitely became a regular contributor during my study year in Brussels (Sep 2001-Jun 2002), and distinctly remember using Belgian internet cafes in that year to very slowly download the trailer for DAD from the main MI6 site.

    Had to change my username from Tokoloshe to Tokoloshe2 here a few years ago as the Facebook login facility stopped working and my former account became inaccessible.

    Turns out I had my first MI6 Community anniversary two days ago! I honestly thought I had joined this year :-?
    To think I had gotten back into being interested in Bond in the run-up to NTTD and then after it got delayed I thought I'll check out a bit more of the fandom and after a few weeks found this place and another few weeks later I made an account and now it's a year later and the film still isn't out :)) :((

    I was on a forum already in 1999 and it was the predecessor of MI6community, I just don't remember its name or address. It vanished suddenly in 2011 and was reborn as this one.

    I would very much like to hear about the origins from the founding members of mi6community, it is all a bit murky pre-2011.

    and modded in 2004. Can't recall the exact date, but there were about 50 active members then, still discussing DAD!

    Oh yes, those days. I spent a good year or so lurking in the shadows before finally signing up and jokingly being told by @Simon (I believe) that I was a complete fart for thinking DAD not quite as bad as the general consensus seemed to be. :-D

    Surely the feeling of homelessness lasted only a mere few hours, @zebrafish. ;-) I seem to recall the Community crawling out of its digital womb pretty quickly. And yes, indeed, good content was lost, but better content was created here. By the way, if you can recall when you joined KTBEU, please use that date in the list. ;-)

    You've been here a very long time, then. I was on CBn from 10 May 2002, having started reading it in late 2001. I knew about AJB too and joined it in January 2003 but I seemed to have missed KTBEU for some reason.

    It's a pity that that Facebook log-in issue was never resolved for you. I had the same problem back in 2013-14 with the Twitter sign-in app I'd joined here with in but I eventually got that resolved by changing to a forum sign-in account only.

    I can't remember how it all came together back then, other than James Page's Bond forum and another James (name's gone) who had a Bond gaming forum combined talents to form KTBEU. I thought that was just before DAD came out, but you may be right, JP could've been running his forum from as early as 1999.
    I was a lurker for a year before I joined as well, but you sir take the crown. I doubt we have anyone else here who can claim 1999 :)
