Darn I am actually a little upset as to me skyfall is depressing and well bland where quantum is far better oh well let’s just finish this and start the Nelson Niven lazenby Dalton one

Yeh, the anti QOS brigade were ruthless in the end.
Agree, I would take the sublime QOS over gloomy SF any day of the week! Ah well, only a game and all that!!
I would be more insulted though if my top 3 Bond movies, namely OHMSS,TLD,and LTK are lumped in with the Niven/Nelson efforts.

Count me into the Quantum camp as well. Prefer it endlessly to SF. But in the end it was always going to be the underdog of the two. At least it did put up a good fight.

QoS has a car chase, a roof chase and a boat chase that have been clipped to 1-second shots in the editing room under enormous time pressure and the intention to update the action to imitate the Bourne style. This failed, in my opinion, because these action scenes are impossible to understand. Don't get me wrong, Craig is great in it, as is the rest of the cast, but the script and editing were a desaster.

Only after several views and in hindsight it slowly makes sense and gains in favour following the very different SF and SP, but that does not change the impression I had after having it seen for the first time: What a wasted effort, especially following the diamond that CR was.

While I understand having only three films is quite short and as you said it’s only a game and considering I have no idea how to down vote against any of those 3 it would make the first two rounds pretty easy

No need to worry on that front @Mathis1
George Lazenby and Timothy Dalton will get their time to shine, when this game has concluded. Whilst I enjoy CR'54 and even more so CR'67 I'm a bit old fashioned, and will only be using EON Bond entries at this time. Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause.

Good game. I know we don't represent the majority on here, but considering how SF just narrowly beat out QoS shows how far we've come! Love it.

That was a good battle, all the same. End to end stuff.
  • Can't really argue with that result! Fun to see QoS and SF neck and neck.

CR is the only Craig Bond film I consider a true classic.

I find QOS the least entertaining film in the series and the most disappointing spy film sequel since 1969's Some Girls Do(the weak follow up to 1967's Deadlier Than The Male) while SF is disproportionately overrated IMHO. I actually kind of enjoy the lowly regarded SP as Craig's most Brosnan/Moore-era type entry though it's far from my top 10.

So the right film won. I'm kind of surprised that SF didn't put up more of a challenge to it.

Might've moved QoS to #2 had I participated! That was nice and quick.
