Marit Bjørgen is now the most succesfull winter Olympian ever, securing her 14th medal today! Hats off to you! And it is not over yet, as she will also be a certain medal favorite (probably gold) in the women's 30k on sunday.

So now Midtre Gauldal, with 6 thousand inhabitants, have three more medals than Luxembourg, @GoldenGun. Beat that! ;)

I cannot argue with that ;)

Luckily Norway is one of my favourite countries, so all the best to them ;)

Michael Phelps' house has more than either. Not sure what your point is exactly.

So Marit Bjørgen equaled Ole Einar Bjørndalen's (another Norwegian obviously) record of eight gold medals in the Winter Olympics today. It was her 15th medal in total, two more than Ole.

That is Norway's 39th medal this year. Another record of course.

Ledecka & Ten Mors two athletes who competed in different disciplines and won gold/gold & Gold/bronze are brilliant athletes.

It has been a great Olympic show these last two weeks.

    Amazing performances by Ledecka!

Belgium snatched their first Winter Olympic medal since 1998 on the penultimate day too.

It has been a great show overall, definitely more satisfying than the Sochi event four years ago.

    What’s up next?

Indeed enjoyed the games quite a bit... amazing result by the German icehockey players btw... if only they had not fought against Bond the day before they would have won the gold medal... :-)

Lots of good moments. The 17 year olds US snowboarders that won slopestyle; Virtue and Moir winning ice dancing; amazing performances from the Japanese men and Russian ladies in figure skating; the German couple in pairs; Ester Ledecka; the US women's hockey team and men's curling teams winning gold, the US women who won the first ever US medal in women's cross-country, and the ties in bobsled! Definite will miss Pyeongchang, but can't wait for Tokyo 2020.
