@jobo is from Trondheim. Not me.

But he knows I am kidding. They have a reputation for drinking heavily, like the Danes.
The Finns are the worst though, and arguably the Northerners.

But the Russians beat them all.

They drink themselves unconcious because of the mess they live in, they have got a few folks who own a shedload and the rest just has nothing.

I really laughed hard about one of the tales out of the Cold war when it became known afterwards that one of the military airports in Siberia (or anyhow Polar based) could not fly their Migs because the ground crews had drunk the fuel which consisted largely of pure alcohol. This happened apparently every winter.

And remember Yeltzin who had to cancel a couple of state visits? He made it to the airport, but was too drunk to exit the plane. :-))

Repost here from the closed thread.

I was born in the city of Romeo and Juliet, Verona, Italy.

Thank you William Shakespeare for all the free marketing you gave us! Which for me is just extra noise and overcrowding when I come home, living 80 m from the (fake and f*****g) balcony.

    XD

Is that saying that you never will, or is there a certain time of the year that would work?

Well, it's about two and a half hours from me. So unfortunately, I doubt it.

I'm from a country that hasn't released the whole James Bond home video catalogue since the UEs in 2006 or the (now out of stock) Bond 50 box in 2012. Only the Craig films had individual DVD/BluRay releases recently and they're still hard to find. Thankfully, Brazil exists ;)

a little city in the middle of the Canadian prairies.

If it begins with an S, I've been there in 1978.
Don't recall a lot of it, other than it was very flat, there was a tornado and I almost drowned.
